You won’t need google anymore and super great for beginners.
The media could not be loaded. I am very impressed with this Bible by far it is one of the bestest ones I own. And I own three now!! I remember having to go into google all the time to try and just understand little things and who was who. But this Bible gives you background knowledge, history, different references crossing from the old to the New Testament. It seems a bit intimidating at first, but it gives you step by step how to use it, and how to maybe do your prayers. I would say for as complex it is. It really is good for beginners. I have been on my journey with God for a really long time now butttt understanding the Bible sometimes can be tricky regardless of how close or far you may be with God it’s a BIG BOOK composed of many books. So breathe it’s okay. This book does go for 70 but I got this book on sale for like 30 or 35 during prime day sales. And it’s honestly great if you’re wanting to grow your relationship and be a proverbs 31 woman or a Ephesians 5 man. Or just get closer in general, it gives you so many pictures upon cross referencing and then even breaks down bigger words into more simpler words. But DOESNT change the original text from the KJV which is really nice. I’m biased to the KJV so if you’re like me you’ll like what this Bible has to offer while keeping all original text. It has the red lettering and even offers you two string bookmarks within the inside of it. The pages are a bit thicker then normal standard Bible paper which makes it nicer. It’s a soft leather which makes it easier to read and flip through pages!! Overall I have had this bible for four days now and it’s lovely. It even cites all the scholars and people who have helped come up with the information as well. So if you did want to google those said people to learn more you can. I love it and I can see now why it went for $70 originally but I got it on the sale and saved about $40 dollars. But I wanted to show a little bit about the book!!

Worth it
Large print which is great. It has a beautiful design. Has two ribbon bookmarks. Has great notes, maps, etc. and of course the most precious part, Gods Word. Definitely worth buying especially if you love the KJV.

I have 50 Bibles, and this is one of my top 3 all-time favorites
"This Bible is beautiful. The cover is so stunning that I display it on a bench at the foot of my bed. The pages are made of high-quality paper. While all Bibles have thin pages, some have much thinner pages with significant bleed-through. This Bible's heavier-weight pages minimize this effect. The book opens and lays flat, and the sewn binding seems very durable. I haven't highlighted anything in this book, and I don't intend to. It's simply too beautiful, and I have other Bibles for note-taking. However, if I find I want to make a note, I will use adhesive tabs to avoid marring the pages. [You can add the link to the adhesive tabs here if you'd like.]The doctrinal footnotes are amazing and are probably one of my favorite features. I often reference them as a substitute commentary, even when reading or studying other Bible versions. I also enjoy the Personality Profiles, which are a delight to read, informative, and helpful. The maps are beautiful and vivid. Many appear on heavy, high-gloss pages at the back of the book, but even the illustrations and photos (like those in the "Archeological Sites" notes) on the regular pages are still full-color and high-quality. The larger text is easy to read, and the Bible lays flat when opened, making it perfect for desk study. It is a large and not lightweight Bible, but it wasn't meant to be a travel Bible. It includes a concordance, study notes, book introductions, and book outlines, which are great for scanning and locating specific information within a book's context. Additionally, there are two ribbons, which are a thoughtful feature for those who do a lot of Bible study and are constantly flipping back and forth between pages. I often find myself wishing for a second ribbon in books that only have one. This leads me to another great feature: the single column in the center of the two-column layout, which contains scripture references. This book honestly has so much to offer. And to think, I had tried to cancel my order in a moment of buyer's remorse, and believing I have too many Bibles already. Thankfully, I tarried too long, and my cancellation was denied. I am delighted it turned out that way because I ended up with one of the most beautiful and cherished Bibles in my vast collection. This would make a great gift, or a stunning coffee table book. It is a Bible to be enjoyed! It is beautiful, helpful, well-organized, and insightful. I can hardly recommend it enough.

Very Nice
I’m 57 years old with bad but, corrected vision. I have Bibles from Cambridge, Schuyler, R.L.Allen and Church Bible Publishing. So I’m comfortable in saying I have experience with high quality Bibles. My comments are only regarding how this Bible is presented and not about the King James translation itself. That is a matter of preference and there are a number of positions regarding that. I prefer the KJV myself. This edition has a nice leather cover that I would say is somewhat flexible. Flexable but, not overly so. Similar to a Cambridge Calf Skin. Saying the print size is large is a bit of an overstatement. It may say it’s large print but the letters are thinner it seems. It’s a good size but a bit less than what one would expect from a Large print Bible. It is easy to read though. The commentary and notes are quite readable with the cross references being a bit on the smaller side. The paper is white and thick enough to not allow much ghosting even with color pictures on the reverse side. The color pictures are well done and sharp. The colorization used throughout the Bible is consistent and I quite enjoy it. It’s not over done at all. The back matter is extensive and looks very useful. All in all it is a very nice Study Bible and considering all the information it has the print size is more than acceptable. As with any large volume durability is the question. With heavy or rough use I don’t see this Bible lasting more than a few years. It does not have a paste down liner and the leather cover doesn’t “feel” like it will hold up to much abuse. With all this being said it is definitely worth the asking price however, if you are looking for a Bible that will last a lifetime of use, I’d look elsewhere.
