I tend to like watches with moon phase complications, and I also have four rotating daily watches that I don't want to tinker with resetting all the time. Accordingly, I use a winder for a number of watches in my collection. I had previously bought a Heiden Quad winder - it worked well other than a finicky connection to the power supply that sometimes affected performance if bumped. I wanted an eight watch winder and against my better judgement started with one of the Chinese look-alikes from Amazon. Upon setting it up I knew I had made a mistake - plastic on some of the inserts that could scratch the watch, a non-functioning light strip on one side of the door, and a door that wouldn't stay closed and tended to drift open. Item returned and enter this Heiden...Yes, it's pricey, though compared to Wolf winders and some of the uber high-end winders it's reasonably priced. It's built like a tank - the difference was immediately noticeable compared to the previous one. Solid construction - thick plush pillows - and BUTTONS instead of an electronic screen so settings can be quickly and easily adjusted for each watch. The leather covering looks great. It runs quietly. And most importantly - it keeps my watches running correctly.There's a lot of debate on the merits of watch winders, but if you're like me and have a reasonable number you want to keep on a winder, this Heiden is an attractive, solid choice.

This product looks great, is well built, has a slim profile, and great features. It is aesthetically pleasing enough to be visibly displayed in a room, but can also be inconspicuously tucked away next to a nightstand.

Looks great and winders work, but only 1 year and the door won’t close! There’s so latch so the door just stays open. Very disappointed this has happened.
