The Complete Wizard of Oz (All 15 Books)
I got this book & can not put it down. I am currently reading Ozma of Oz & I am truly impressed by this book. I have to say what a great collection of books this is. As far as being able ot go to any table of contents I figured out how. When you go to the menu option & choose go to you can go to the location. Instead of choosing location you choose the cover of the book then after choosing the cover use your > key on your Kindle to go to the next page & walla there is a list of all 15 books as a table of contents & you can get to choose what book you would like. The way the books are actually put in order seem to me the way that L. Frank Baum actually wrote them so far. One book in particular I wasn't that interested in was the Woggle Bug but I read it anyway just to get more of a perspective of what the author had in store for these books written starting at the 1900's :D I am impressed with the books so far & actually really enjoying reading them. I was presently surprised by the difference between L Frank Baum's books & the movies that were produced. The book The Wizard of Oz was definitely a twist from the movie. And it seems the movie Return to Oz is a collection of the first 3 books combined but another great twist. I am happy to read these books because there is so much more than what was represented in the movie & I never want to put my Kindle down. I am truly loving the different perspectives from the movies vs the books!! Great read so far!!Very Satisified & happy with my purchase & worth the .99 cents - What a great deal for 15 books!!!

Every sentence of the book underlined in kindle
I have always loved the Wizard of Oz and never had a chance to read any of the other books in the series, so that’s why I purchased this collection. I haven’t finished reading the entire series but have read the first couple of books in the collection so far. It’s still a great children’s tale; however, there are some really outdated phrasings and ideas in the text. I would highly encourage parents to read this with their children in order to discuss some of the language and negative stereotypes within some of the stories. The main reason I give it 4 stars (for the product itself and not a reflection of my rating of the actual content of the book) is because for some reason, every sentence is underlined in this kindle version. I don’t believe it’s a setting because I have the setting to see highlighted passages turned off. It bothered me at first, but I was eventually able to look past it. However, some people might have a bigger problem with it.

The cheapest express ticket to Oz! 👍
Besides a few little OCR mistakes and some confusion with telling the beginnings and endings apart from the chapters, this is the best, and cheapest, way to enjoy the whole series in my opinion. I'm young but I grew up with these books! The first one is THE TIP OF THE ICEBURG. The movie did it justice, but there's so much more to the world and story. Heavily recommended read.Keep in mind it's a very long series and some books are very unlike the others. One takes place entirely underground, and it's extremely psychedelic. Another is about a transgender kid and their wooden son with a pumpkin head. They're all extremely fun to read if you have the head for it. The words are often very long, so be aware you'll have to help younger kids out with vocabulary!👍👍👍Edit: missed a grammatical word in the title, I'm dumb 😀

Great addition to my Fantasy book collection
I always wanted to read this collection, but never could talk myself into purchasing the book set. Some of the stories are bizarre, but more tame & less creepy than I had expected. There seems to be quite a bit of inconsistency between some of the OZ stories. Sometimes characters travel together, but in a following story don't seem to remember each other. Or the landscape is described quite differently. I am sure this is because as the stories were written they began to evolve from the author's original idea. Baum had never intended to write more than his original "Wizard of OZ", the changes made later were most likely because the original land described was not written to be revisited, or he simply forgot some of the details. At times the author's style is quite condescending to a child's intelligence. As history shows, these books met with a lot of resistance from adults, so this may be the author's way to make the stories easier for parents to handle rather than a lack of respect for a child's intellect. Overall, these books represent a lot more than a collection of children's stories and I was very pleased to add them to my collection without spending a lot of money.

Bedford Park Books version (14 book collection)
This is another glowing review for the Bedford Parks Books version of the Complete Wizard of Oz collection. I am dismayed to read the bad reviews, of which most actually belong to a completely different collection of 15 Oz books.I have a Kindle 2, and the Bedford Park Books set is formatted for the Kindle. I have had no problems with it. The table of contents is fully functional, with easy access to each chapter of each of the 14 books. As one recent reviewer noted, this collection does not include The Woggle-Bug Book. However, that book is technically not an Oz series book, even if it does feature an Oz character visiting our world. Also, it clearly states on the cover of this collection that this is a 14 book set of the Oz series by L. Frank Baum.I grew up with these stories, and I love them. I like that these wonder tales, unlike older fairy tales (Grimm, Perrault, Anderson), involve characters from late 19th/early 20th Century America that are transported to Oz.Some other reviewer complained that you can find all of these books available as individual books for free. That is true. Nevertheless, I totally do not regret paying $0.95 for the convenience of getting all 14 beloved books together in one volume AND formatted for Kindle with an active Table of Contents. For me, that is well worth it.I also have the Bedford Parks Books versions of the Complete Sherlock Holmes and the Complete Jane Austen for the Kindle. I have no complaints with those either. I would definitely buy more collections put together by them.

I bought this book collection as I love to read things like this in this type of genre. I actually didn’t know that there were so many books for The Wizard of Oz I thought there was only three but wow was I wrong ha-ha. I started to read the books and it did take me a little while to get in to the story but I know from the film that I love these books. If I can love the films so much then I can only imagine how great the books are as your own imagination will help with the story and there will be a lot more information that you are given rom reading it instead of watching it.I guess the best part about these books are just that when you think to yourself oh my it’s almost over then you realise that you have lots more books left over.I loved every minute that I spent reading these and I think that it is a great story! The details are great and it is well written (more than I can say about my own writing ha-ha)

Ein Klassiker eben
Vielleicht nicht jedermann's Sache, aber wer es einmal gelesen hat, wird immer wieder reinschauen. Im Original klingt alles natürlich noch besser.

Fantastic!
This was a dowload to my kindle for 77p and I must say what a bargain!! These stories are fabulous and make me feel as if I am back in my childhood while I'm reading them! They are magical and make you feel transported into Oz!Massivley underated in my opinion, and not readily available enough, I would love physical copies with pictures in to read with my little boy as he would love them, the words are great but pictures would just help with the magic!

As wonderful nostalgic trip with some well loved old friends
I initially downloaded this book initially to read to my daughter, to introduce to her the well loved friends of my youth, the sweet kind Dorothy, the bumbling clumsy Scarecrow and the proud loyal Tin Man, The Cowardly Lion, and of course the man himself the Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Though I had remembered Ozma and Tik Tok I did not know there were 14 books in the series (in fact I've since discovered two other authors were commissioned to write Oz books after the death of Baum and there are in total 26 books in the series! This does not include the latest Wicked trilogy) and one snowy afternoon a couple of weeks ago I sat down and began to read, the first book, two and a half weeks later I've finally completed this wonderful traipse down memory lane with some old and new friends, as an adult you notice silly things like continuency issues which don't bother you as a child but niggle as an adult. However that said I thoroughly enjoyed reacquainting myself with the magical land of Oz and it's inhabitants. Many of the books were new to me, it was a lovely to escape to my childhood these snowy weeks, I would recommend these books to any age young or not so young! Indeed reading them out loud to your child is a great way to sneakily read the books and a great way to introduce your children to reading. And if you think you've seen the film so you don't need the book you will be amazed at the differences. This book is worth downloading even if it's just too share with your child/children

The Complete Wizard of Oz Collection
I originally bought this because I wanted to read the story of the Wizard of Oz as I'd never read it, but watched the film countless times. The story is very good, however, I had no idea there were ten books in the series. I have only had time to read the first book, but began the second one to get a feel for it and I liked that too. At some point I will get around to reading the rest, but studies have taken over for now. :-)
