I ordered this for my husband since he’s had neck surgery on his spinal cord. I wanted something that was portable for car rides and gave him mobility. This red light therapy devise works great! We have never tried red light therapy and I was kind of skeptical but this devise heats up well and helps loosen the muscles around the neck. I’ve even borrowed it a few times after a intense work out and felt less muscle soreness after. I love that small enough to do the trick but packs a lot of heat. The high level is too hot for me, in-fact I recommend taking off any necklaces you may have on if you like the high heat, it heats the chain up really hot. The only negative I would say is when it turns it self off, the beep kind of startles me, but it’s a nice tool to have an automatic shut off in case you fall asleep with it on. All in all, I would recommend.

This amazing neck, infrared lamp is SO simple and incredibly easy to use! I LOVE it! I already own a 300 watt, infrared lamp, but needed a tool for my OA that was easier to use and primarily designed for the neck. So I took a gamble and purchased an USUIE! I have Osteoarthritis in one hip, both thumbs, one knee and my neck. The cause of this OA is primarily from previous sports injuries over the years. Now at 64, I swim seventy lengths regularly each week. My neck still tightens occasionally after a great workout when I alternate my neck from one side to the next whilst doing the crawl underwater. So my USUIE has become a new favorite in my healing routine alongside consistent, self care, good nutrition and physical therapy exercises for stretching and strengthening in the local pool. It is best for me when I sit up, stand or walk around the house while using this tool and I fit the USUIE into my daily activities. I personally find it a little, too warm on the back of my neck if I lie directly on it. If need be, I can still lie down to take a rest, but propped up by pillows. I no longer have to set aside time out of my busy schedule to lie on my bed and be attached to an infrared lamp that is powered by electricity. I just love it’s simplicity, convenience and healing warmth!

If you have severe neck pain I’d definitely give this a try. When I first opened it I thought it wouldn’t fit my neck cause it looked tiny but then I relieved it stretches and adjusts to the size of the neck it’s going on! It can stretch superrrr big. My neck is pretty small so I was nervous the sides were going to be too hot since it wrapped around my neck and kinda reached the front near my throat so I couldn’t relax the first time using it I sat there so alert and ready to pull it off if it started burning the front of my neck then I realized the sides are only slightly heated and focus on the red light therapy while the main part in the back middle heats stronger where your neck isn’t as sensitive so I had nothing to worry about the whole time! I’ve now been using it for a 15 minute session everyday while I read or watch a show and relax it’s really nice and cozy. It’s also small enough to travel with or store into a box so it doesn’t take up a bunch of space!

This light therapy necklace would be great, except for a few improvements it desperately needs. There is only one button to turn on, set the heat/brightness level, and turn off. Unfortunately, when you cycle through the levels, you only get one beep for every level. Because you cant look at it without hurting your eyes, it is extremely difficult to get the setting you want. By the time i realized it was on too high, i was already burned.Please find a way to improve this by making the different levels have different beeps-one for liw, 2 for medium, 3 for high!

Temporary relief for pain on neck.

After reading many reviews, I decided to make this expensive purchase. I have extreme neck pain from a herniated disc. Have been looking for something to help ease the pain. This machine isn't heavy on the neck and feels ok. I haven't used it long enough to say it works but fingers are crossed everyone is different so I hope it helps me. Edit: it's been months since my last purchase and I can say it sadly hasn't help. I'm unfortunately now experiencing low charge no matter how long I charge it.

I have a lot of red lights in my household because I swear by the results. So I bought this originally for my neck but discovered multiple applications for other body pains. I have a knee problem and the pain stems from the posterior side, I usually have to hold my usual red light and move it around which is time consuming. But because of this product’s curved shape and flexible sides I was able to put this on the back of my knee hands free! I’ve used it on my shoulder, my thighs, arms, ankle and my hair line, I forget it was made for the neck 😆. Another plus, it stays on for a long time and battery charging is quick. It does get very hot, so I put a white linen cloth btw us. One of my favorite purchases on Amazon. And thank u Amazon for carrying products that I would not be able to find in stores, you came through for me many times. 😘
