These holders work as expected and make it easier to use my cast-iron skillets. As stated, the holders work best with larger skillets, such as Wagner 8 and higher. I use one on my Wagner 6 and it is ok, just not really tight, but then this pan is smaller than the specified minimum size. For the price, I am very pleased! These are so much easier than using a hotpad every time I need to hold the skillet in place.

I bought these for the cast iron pots I use at the grill. They are perfect for many sizes. I put them on the top shelf of the dishwasher & they wash up perfectly. I like these & I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Do not recommend leaving them on while cooking. They get very hot

The sleeve fits too loosely to feel secure or my Wagnerware Sydney -0- cast iron pan. It's a #8 that is 10" across with high sides. The longer handle covers that are tighter feel better. This works as good as a mitt would, I guess and it is the right length. I'll probably trim down one that is tighter. Not the fault of this product, I apparently just have a rare pan or something as nothing fits it.

Measure the handle length before ordering.

You can’t go wrong with this product made specifically made Lodge pans. It fits perfectly.No burns. I have a different silicone pan handle and have burned myself several times because of the fit.Be kind to yourself & purchase this one!

Too loose to stay on the skillet

Difficult to install on a hot grill. You will need a heat resistant glove to hold the pan steady to push the handle cover on.Otherwise works great!

You can feel when it’s hot

Added one to each of my cast iron frying pans. So much safer than an oven mitt. They don't slip off, and make carrying a heavy pan so much easier.
