Felt balls are 2.5 cm (about the size of a quarter) and made of 100% wool. Metallic beads are 2 cm (3/4 inch) and made of wood. Felt balls are meant to be spaced approximately 2-3 inches apart. There are no knots between the balls, so that you customize the position of the balls on the garland. Felt balls and wooden beads will grip the string allowing for them to stay in their place.
