What an excellent Aftershave! The formula seems to be pretty concentrated and the scent is a bit on the stronger side so a little goes a long way. It goes on slick with a silky smooth texture but dries quickly and leaves no greasy or tacky feeling at all. Once applied, it feels like a cross between a balm and a Skin Food from the Geo. F. Trumper’s line. I’ve owned many dozens of aftershave balms and splashes over the years and Castle Forbes make some of the finest performing aftershaves I’ve come across to date. The scent is a little harder to describe because I haven’t smelled anything else quite like it but it’s an instant winner. It’s a fresh, intoxicating, aromatic scent that smells very masculine and clean. It’s almost one of those scents that you feel you should be able to put your finger on but can’t. Although it doesn’t exactly smell like anything straight forward, there’s nothing in the ingredients that make it smell synthetic or unnatural in any way. I was a little surprised when I unboxed this product to discover that the bottle is made of squeezable, black plastic as opposed to the more elegant glass bottle advertised. The glass would have made a much nicer display although the plastic does seem more practical and will probably allow me to get more out of the bottle once I start running low.

The scent this product has is amazing. I expected it to smell completely fresh (lime, citrus…) but it actually is very well balanced. The scent isn’t overpowering though, which is suitable for anyone who likes wearing perfume.

Sehr angenehmer Geruch. Hält sehr lange an. Dezent und doch "da". Für Büro/Geschäftsleben genau richtig. Ist eines meiner dauerhaft verwendeten After Shaves Produkte. Selten habe ich etwas bereits so lange in Verwendung wie dieses.
