Best flour
Absolutely the best sourdough bread I have ever made! So soft and delicious!

You’re not gluten intolerant
For those seeking a quality non-enriched, glyphosate free wheat flour, this is it. There’s no such thing as gluten intolerant btw, rather you’ve been conditioned to believe this bc most of the flour you consume (100% in US), the wheat is sprayed with a selective herbicide called glyphosate. You’re showing symptoms related to allergen to glyphosate, nothing to do with gluten.

Great flour but don't buy from this seller who shipped a rock-hard product
This is EXCELLENT flour but I do not recommend you buy from this seller. I've ordered it numerous times off Amazon from different sellers and it was always a great product. But from this seller, DEAL26, the the bottom third of the bag of flour was unusable because the flour was as hard as a rock. I broke it off into little pieces, hoping I could crush it and use it, but that didn't work -- it was still too hard. I don't know if it took on moisture or was stored improperly. In any case, this flour is already expensive, and for a third of the bag to be unusable is inexcusable. Next time I will order from JF Distributions or one of the other Amazon sellers I used in the past. Even though they charged more, at least I got a bag that was fully usable. I want to be clear that this flour itself is an excellent flour, but don't buy it from this seller.

High quality flour
The flour quality is great ! But ! It states on the package 1000g . Consistently less than that . The last batch (4 packs) was 920g each…. How come i never seen …above 1000g?!

Gluten Intolerant Friendly Flour
I've not been able to eat anything with gluten for 8 years without awful side effects. I'd read that gluten intolerant Americans had no issues eating regular food in Europe due to European laws restricting certain chemicals very commonly used in the US. I bought a sack of this French flour, made a loaf of bread, and ate the entire thing without any problems at all!! This has completely changed my world. I am rediscovering my joy in cooking and baking. So many favorite foods that I had given up on, I am once again able to enjoy. Some might balk at the cost, but gluten free flours are about as expensive and the baking outcomes are rarely very good or easy to execute. I highly recommend this flour!

GREAT flour for people with gluten intolerance!!
I learned when I went to Europe that I could eat the bread over there, and found out that Europeans grow soft wheat, as opposed to the hard wheat grown in the US. Soft wheat is much easier to digest, and does not cause the reactions that hard wheat can for many people. I was THRILLED to find organic, French flour on Amazon!! I love this flour, not only for the gluten issue, but it's just a very nice flour to work with. Makes beautiful pie crust and cookies!! If you do have Celiac Disease, this will NOT work for you, but if it's just an intolerance like many people, you will be able to use this for all of your favorite baked goods, without skin break-outs or digestive issues!! SO happy I found this!! Took off one star because it is quite expensive, but worth the price if it means being able to eat sweets and bread again!

Worth the money for this Gluten/Wheat Intolerant baker.
This flour is a game changer for those who like me, are gluten and wheat intolerant but NOT Celiac. I purchased this Francine Organic Wheat flour to test it after reading that baked goods made with French flours did not affect some people who are gluten/wheat intolerant. I bought one bag to test it and made one loaf of Portuguese bread (Pao Caseiro) which is similar to French bread. I savored each bite of the freshly baked bread waiting for the itchy rash, nasal congestion, bloating and 3-day migraine to kick in. Happy to report that I had none of the symptoms I typically suffer with after consuming baked goods made with US, Canadian and Italian wheat flours. This Francine organic wheat flour is pricey but well worth the cost to make my family's traditional baked goods that I haven't been able to recreate with gluten free grains.

High-quality, easy-to-work-with French T55 flour
I tested this Francine Organic T55 flour over the course of two weeks, using it for bread, crepes, and several baked goods. The flour performs consistently well across recipes, offering smooth handling and reliable results. As expected from a French T55 flour, the gluten content is lower, which helps prevent dough from becoming overly dense. Crepes and enriched doughs benefit especially—the texture turns out soft, slightly chewy, and pleasantly tender. For bread, the dough develops naturally with good elasticity, and the baked loaf has a light crust with a moist, flavorful interior. The flour is finely milled, mixes without clumping, and absorbs liquid evenly, making hydration adjustments straightforward. The mild, clean wheat aroma is noticeable in the final product. Considering it’s organic and imported, the quality justifies the price. A great choice for French-style baking or everyday home bread making.

Excellente farine ! Mais le prix est exorbitant !!! Les prix en Europe ne dépassent pas 2.93€. Pourquoi une telle différence de prix?

I have purchased this many times! The best flour you can bake with. All of our organic flours suck in Canada in comparison to this! High standards for farming practices, clean healthy soil, no fake vitamins or pesticides, also as mentioned a few times the wheat is different in general then what is grown in North America so the gluten in this flour is naturally lowers than ours. I feel better eating bread and pancakes with this purchase! Vive la France 🇫🇷

Nothing quite like wheat products that haven't been doused in glyphosate and other poisons that cause celiac. No bloating or uncomfortable feelings after consuming the bread I made with it. Not cheap but more than worth it.

I love that the organic is similarly priced to the regular. Good flour.

This flour is awful—it has a foul, stale smell and is badly clumped. The expiry date was in 2 weeks at the moment I got it. It's going straight to the garbage.
