I am using these for music. Am sending the signal to my effects units and it is working fine.

I bought these primarily to replace the solar panel on a string of supermarket-branded outdoor lights, with which the panel provided struggled to fully charge even a 400mAh AA cell on a sunny day. These panels, although I have only tested and used one, generate a little over 1.5V indoors, ie out of direct sunlight, and a little shy of 1.7V in direct sunlight - which voltage is ideal for charging 1.2V cells. Use of this panel has also allowed me to install a 900mAh AA cell, allowing the lights to illuminate for a rather longer period (at this, June, time of year). Should anybody think what I have done is a good idea, be aware that you will need soldering skills and a basic understanding of electronics.
