Worked great for punching oval-shaped holes through heavy-weight bookboard (dense thick cardboard) pretty easily. And then I used it to punch similar holes in 200 pages of heavy paper, 5 or 6 sheets at a time. No apparent dulling by the end of that project. Happy.

This works. You just have to put a little force with it.

The oval holes I needed were oriented in other way. Should be adjustable. Returned it.
