Decorative and attractive.
I have used 3M Command hooks for years. Some of them work well, some don't. Through trial and error I have found the way these self-adhesive hooks work best - all of them, 3M Command brand AND non-3M Command brand. Instead of relying on the adhesive that is provided, I apply Sugru to the backs of the hooks and then affix to whatever I need it affixed to. (Sugru is strong and adheres to most surfaces. Best of all, Sugru is cleanly removable if and when that time comes.) For this purchase of self-adhesive hooks, I needed to hang a curtain rod in an unusual location - below a desk across the kneehole area. These House of Pacific hooks are perfect! They are clear plastic with an adorable flower-like shape. First thing I did was cut away the flat backing portion so that only the adorable flower shape remained with the hook. I then applied Sugru to the back and affixed the hooks to the Desk kneehole walls. I allowed the Sugru 24 hours of drying time. With one hook at each end, the curtain rod with heavy curtain was easily supported.I also affixed several of these hooks to a tile wall in my kitchen to hold kitchen serving utensils. I applied grey Sugru to the backs of the cut-out flower-like areas of the hooks and affixed them to my grey kitchen tiles. Perfect! Adorable! Handy, and decorative. These hooks are much more attractive than Command Hooks. With the Sugru for strength, I am not afraid of hanging heavier objects.I am a real purchaser. These hooks were not provided to me and my review is freely given.

It all depends on the seller it seems
I bought it a week ago and worked great, put up frames, anything you can hook and hang. Was so happy with it decided to order a 2nd set. Used it to put up a frame, and it fell off within few minutes. used different one, same.Checked and notice difference in size, thickness. I'm like wth? I've ordered exact same one.It was sent from different seller.Good one that worked as description was from seller AMIAUS, and garbage on 2nd order was from Erduoduo.I would be surprised if this trash can hold 20 oz.

Will take wood and paint off
I ordered these to hold up some Christmas decoration and now that it’s after Christmas I need to take them down. I went to pull one off of my wooden pantry door and it took off paint and wood!!! I am so upset as this is a brand new house! If I would have know they were going to be so hard to remove I would have never purchased them!!! Yes they hold up my decorations but they are absolutely aweful coming off. Not worth the time or money!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

They work great, and they're practically invisible
These hooks are really worth a five-star rating. I got a new patio cover and I wanted to hang strings of Edison lights around it. I quickly realized I didn't want to drill holes in the ceiling of the new patio cover, so I searched for an alternative. These adhesive hooks hold up the light strings with no problem. They work great, and they're practically invisible. When you stick the hooks on a surface, just make sure the surface is dry and free of any grease or dust. I cleaned the area with denatured alcohol.

Destroys painted surfaces and drywall.
Bought these not only for their strength but also for their supposed ease of removal without causing damage. These would be great if you wanted to hang them and they never needed to be moved. They are horrible for trying to remove and destroyed my wall.

Ok adhesive but hard removal
These up decently for the most part. I only had one picture that fell from the wall and it wasn't 20lb. Advertising is confusing because it lists different weights that it can support so who know. Worst part though is removal. I can't get these off the wall and I'm sure once I find a way to remove them I'll have a lot of damage to try and fix. Not worth the hassle. Don't recommend buying these unless you are planning on never removing them.

Great!
I love these hooks. They are useful for so many things. I put them on the sides of my trash cans to hold the plastic grocery bags in place. I use them in my closet to hang purses and large beads (Mardi Gras beads, etc.) Use in kitchen to hang apron, small tools. They stay put.

WILL TEAR PAINT!
I will start off by saying that these adhesive hooks do hold a lot of weight, but the cons outweigh the pros by a mile. They are very awkward in how they stick out from the wall, so everything I hung up looked terrible. As you can see from the picture, upon removing these from the walls in my apartment according to the instructions and previous customer reviews that suggested helpful tips to avoid tearing paint, they completely destroyed the walls. They tore chunks of paint all the way down to the drywall, and it's hard to tell how much I'll be charged for all this damage when my landlord does the final walkthrough next week. I cannot recommend this product to anyone, especially those renting! What a headache!
