These are a good value. The material is a bit more stiff and less grippy than I would like. I would liken it more to plastic than rubber or silicone, but it has a moderate/acceptable amount of grip to it and doesn't seem to slide with a decent amount of weight on top (40lbs across 4). Doesn't mar floors and the provided screws are sufficient to hold it in furniture legs firmly.

I wanted to replace the Lazyboy recliner plastic black feet that made marks on my tile floor daily as I got in and out of my chair. These newly purchased ones are PERFECT!!!!! LOVE THEM! They arrived, I tipped over my 2 recliners right away, removed the offending plastic feet, easily installed the new ones that don't slide all over, and don't make marks on the floor. These are great, well worth every penny. I would buy them again if I needed more. Couldn't be more pleased.

I had new wooden stools that the legs were not even and wobbled on the vinyl floor. I took the original glides off, drilled a small hole and screwed these furniture pads on. The reason I chose these was that I could put a metal washer between the leg and the rubber pad on the legs that were too short. This levels out all the legs and the stools no longer wobble. These pads are awesome.

It is not hard plastic to scratch the hardwood, and it is not a soft silicone to have excessive grip on the ground, ibn a word, perfect for hardwood. The metal insert makes them also very durable, I guess. The screw is a little too thick than a perfect one, but maybe this is a personal preference, anyway not a problem at all. I suggest to drill a small hole to avoid any risk to crack the chair leg, this is what I did, and it worked.

These are just what I was looking for our Lazyboys. Our chairs would constantly slide on the hardwood floors when we sat down or as we we rocked. I tried many different options trying to protect my floors and keep the chairs in place but nothing seemed to work. I finally mentioned the problem I was having to a guy who installs hardwood floors and he told me what to search for. I read all the reviews and settled on these. Liked them so much that I ordered more for our other recliners as well. Wished I would have known about these years ago!
