Album for the Young (24 Easy Pieces), Op. 39: Schirmer Library of Classics Volume 816 Piano Solo

Beautiful, short, piano pieces. But the title is misleading. They are not "Easy." Highly recommend for an intermediate or advanced player (not for beginners). And this edition is an excellent quality book of sheet music. I'm currently working on the first piece, "Morning Prayer." It is gorgeous, but a challenge to play it the way it is meant to be played.

This is a great piano book! It has a lot of beautiful pieces, as well.Would recommend this book for ages 11 and under.

I have been familiar with Piotr's music for a good many years, and though I have not yet worked with this book I know it's fully a 5 star item.

Music for beginners that do not sound like "Row Row your boat", that have a real classical feel. More than half of the book is in G Major or C Major keys. Includes the lovely pieces The Sick Doll and The Doll's funeral. Excellent for whoever is getting to or is RCM #1.
