Got this for my grandsons birthday and he was so excited. He had turned 8 and was so excited to do a wood project without adult help. He read the instructions, looked at pieces to birdhouse, put the pieces in order that they went together and proceeded to put the whole thing together. He was so proud as was I. He waited until he got home to paint so that it would have a place and time to dry well. Thank you so much for making this quality, easy to use project. I am definitely getting more!

I really bought it for the size because I knew my old license plate would bend and fit nicely over the roof. And it did! Got another kit to make a Halloween birdhouse.

I bought this for my grandson and he loved it. And so did the birds since we've had 2 different nesting seasons and both times a bird took up residency.

The wood was very nicely cut and the holes were accurately placed. Nice design. It would have been a good, easy project for my 4.5 y/o son to do on his own except that either the screw holes were too deep or the screws were too short. They did not securely hold the house together (a few of them could lift right out) and we had to resort to using super glue in combination with the screws. Because of this my son lost interest pretty quickly as he had wanted to put it together on his own. There is no way it would have hung for any quality length of time without falling apart otherwise. We were also missing 2 screws. I will be ordering a different DIY birdhouse for my son to do on his own.

Product failed within a week. Fun project, but not useful.

These bird houses turned out better than I expected. My kids liked painting them.
