Offering an authentic 1920s era Flapper Headband just like Lady Rose wore on Downton Abbey. I was SO excited when I found this original early 1900's era rhinestone piece. Then I was even more excited when I watched Downton Abbey and Lady Rose wore one that was almost identical (see photo)...The brilliant crystal rhinestones are prong set and hand wired/woven together into an intricate chain. This antique piece is in wonderful vintage condition - the rhinestones are still bright and brilliant with sparkle though the metal has mellowed a tad creating that softer antique look and feel that can only be achieved with age. I've finished off the ends with new antiqued silver connectors and hand sewn on vintage French ribbon in a pale cappuccino color. The headband ties in the back and the beautiful ribbon can be worn over or tucked under your hair. The rhinestone portion is about 11 inches long and is 1/2 inch wide. The overall length is 36 inches (I've left the ties long but you can trim them down if you desire. I absolutely love this headband! It would be perfect for a 1920s themed wedding or event. Why settle for vintage "look" (that always looks like a reproduction) cookie-cutter produced when you can have a designer, unique hair jewel made from true antique period jewels???
