PRIME-LINEU 9501 Latch Guard Plate Cover – Protect Against Forced Entry, Easy to Install on Out-Swinging Doors – Bronze (Single Pack)

This is a pretty solid piece of metal. The issue I had was that the square offset at the head of the bolt is greater than the thickness of the metal plate. This means that the latch guard would be loose and not be secured flush to the door stile surface. So I had to enlarge the holes for the bolts (not so easy given that the door stile was metal) so that the square offset of the bolts fit into the holes. The cosmetic issue is that the color does not match the color of the door stile, and the nuts are chrome colored rather than matching the color of the plate and bolts.

Purchased because I have a very significant gap in my door between the door and the frame which wich gives access to my locking mechanism which (if ya don't know now ya know) makes it a lot easier to break into a place. Hardware is pretty intense so I might be using a different kind since I am installing this on an apartment door. Will report back with more pics later.

This is a strong product that installs easily and it protects the deadbolt. The color and appearance is also nice, almost matching oil-rubbed bronze lockset.

Pretty straight forward. Not an exact match to bronze but it is for an outdoor shed attached to a rental we have. Very please with the product and literally installed within minutes. Drill holes, slide the bolts through and tighten down.

Exactly what I needed for backyard storage building. Installed quickly and looks nice. I did spray paint to match the building color.

They look really good. All I need now is a good maintenance man to do the install.

Description said it was oil rubbed bronze, it’s spray painted gray.

solid made, 2nd time around, nice big bolts and washers, GOOD SIZE, great security upgrade for doors, no jimmy here.
