Well built, girlfriend approved.
Girlfriend loves it. I purchased this as a thank you for all she does for our family and she has put it to great use. She has managed to make this this her primary cooking pan for literally 100% of everything she's been making since we got it.The quality is excellent, it's sturdy, well built and most importantly, really non-stick. She's made candied pecans, gone straight from cooking meats to cooking eggs and using it as her sole cook pan. I can tell she's trying to throw hints that she wants to replace other cookware with this style and given how much she loves it, I will be ordering more.

Buy it, you won't regret it.
Was hesitant to spend the money on Hexclad but I saw this 12" wok and decided to pull the trigger. I am very happy with this purchase. I made fried rice and nothing stuck to the surface. Clean up was a breeze. I plan on purchasing the frying pans next.

worth the money
I had ordered a different highly rated wok but it did not live up to my expectations. I decided to try Hex Clad. This wok is fantastic. It browns food over high heat with no problem. It cleans us so easily. The pan is quite heavy compared to others, but it handles well. Not one thing stuck when I used it. I was hesitant to purchase it originally, but now I am a fan! It does not come with a lid, but I had one from another brand that works well if needed.

Hexclad Wok
Pan is extremely well made. As a first cook after seasoning, I decided to test the pan by cooking eggs over easy. Put a little butter in the pan. Eggs cooked evenly and when it came time to flip the eggs, the pan released the eggs easily and the design of the wok made the flipping simple.

HEXCLAD RULES!
It’s HEXCLAD! Do I need to say more? I’m not an expert but this HEXCLAD works better than my circulon wok & the latter worked damn well! When I wash it, all I need to do is run the water over it & no more residue! I don’t worry abt all the toxins lesser pans have Altho I’ve heard some negative things. The diff, is HEXCLAD coating doesn’t scratch so no toxin n food unlike pans like Circulon etc. that can get scratched & wear out! HEXCLAD is expensive! So instead of expensive perfume evry year for Xmas, hubby buys me a diff pot evry year. I own 2 so far! These r now my go to pots! The woks serves as my skillet & it’s a great replacement! Highly recommended!

Wok style great, but received a dud?
I have a mixed review for this Hexclad wok and debated over how many stars to give. As a wok style, really like it. Not too heavy. Well balanced. As a Hexclad piece…meh. After seasoning it, cooling it, and washing it twice, it still had residue when wiped with a white papertowel. I called Hexclad and requested an exchange. They denied and suggested seasoning again and for longer. Had done that the second time, but ok, did it again. And then again. It finally wiped clean after having seasoned, cooled, and washed four times in four days. However, it doesn’t have the same seasoned sheen or feel as my other pieces. This wok piece browns well but takes more effort to clean than the others.I find I don’t use it as often as I expected to. I keep wondering if we would be ingesting metal residue. I am sure I received the dud in the lott and the rest are fine…?…but would have appreciated it being exchanged when asked- at least for the peace of mind.

My new favorite pan.
I have used various cast irons and other non-stick pans and nothing compared to how well I was able to cook eggs with just some butter with virtually nothing left in the pan afterwards. It looked like it hadn't even been used with a slight rinse of water. These pans do advise they should be seasoned before usage, but a couple tablespoons of oil at medium heat for 3-4 minutes is pretty easy.
