I got this uke in the yesterday morning. It was very well packed with a big shipping box and the instrument bags inside. I've always wanted to try some instruments like uke which is really simple for a rookie player. Due to my new baby girl, I'd like to achieve a song with it for my little princess. So, for me, I prefer to choosing a nice one which has both quality and outlooking. Although there are thousands of uke to be recommended by Amazon, my grandpa always mentioned that You get what you pay for.I know what I should pick for myself. I think I cannot move since I saw this one. You know, lots of ukes only have simple light color or wired grain or mightbe totally blacked. I need one which can be kept from a starter to a advancer. It should be very elegant~~ So,I had to admit I am not sure the surface of its would be same as I saw it in PC when it comes. So when I unboxed it, it proves it worth for choosing. It is no doubt the wood surface didn't disappoint you and nice sounds from the strings. I adjust little tuning. Btw, I do not love the colorful strings.Simple ones are all enough. And now I am practicing with a lot fun. Love it!

Fantastic uke for the price. I’ve never played an expensive ukulele but I don’t really feel that I have to after getting this one. Rock the pool party w/ this monster! Just don’t go for the E major chord... you will only embarrass yourself.

Love this ukulele! Beautiful sound and stays in tune after breaking in the strings. Also love the extras; the bag, neck strap, and strings seem bery high quality. Not to mention that the strings are Aquila! Definitely recommend.

I really wanted to love this instrument. It has _almost_ everything going for it. The quality of the body is fine, the finish looks nice, it fits well in the case, and, while I'm not a musical professional, it sounds good to me. I would have gladly granted the item 5 stars but for one inexcusable flaw: the frets are sharp and not flush with the neck. The result is an instrument that is unplayable because it is painful to move your hand around the neck. I returned the product today and, based on other reviews, was tempted to reorder and try again. Ultimately, I decided I will try a brick and mortar music store so I can feel an instrument before buying it.

this Ukulele is very elegant, I very like it. I put it on the wall in my bedroom. If next time ,my friends birthday party, I will buy this brand for him.
