This thing really holds up to the abuse of practicing on it daily. Super nice texture and feel while hitting of it. Extremely satisfied customer here. A++ product.

If you're a great golfer this mat will probably hold up well however, if you suck like I do and hit a lot of heavy shots, you'll rip through it fast. After a month and a half of 3 time a week swinging sessions, I've annhilated an entire side of this mat and have to flip it around now to the clean side. This obviously isn't an issue if you hit off the tee instead of hitting off the mat, but I'm a little shocked at how fast it broke down.

Very dense and high quality. It’s thinner on the bottom pad than some really expensive ones but I bought some of that 1/2 inch gym puzzle flooring to upgrade it. For the price, I doubt there is anything out there that’s better.

Finally got around to trying this out and it is a great little practice mat! Thick enough, big enough, and comes with the rubber tee. This will get a lot of use!

I've had a simulator in my basement for over one year now, and I wanted to test a different mat to see how it impacted my shot performance compared to my CCE. While it doesn't affect the performance when I hit a clean shot by much, it does grab clubs when I mis-hit a shot much more aggressively than my CCE mat does.The quality of the grass/turf on this mat is excellent. When I cleanly hit the ball, it works great, and the turf feels like most other turf's out there. The carpet under the mat in my simulator area gives me an added cushion. This mat works just fine absorbing errant club strikes on the carpet, but I'd be concerned it wasn't enough if it was placed on concrete. The minimal rubber padding wouldn't be as forgiving.As for the size, the size is perfect. This 4'x5' mat gives me plenty of room to swing away with my drivers and chip sky-high flop shots. I love the versatility of this mat. It came rolled up, so it took one day for it to "flatten" out, but since then, it has lost its memory of the roll. I'm impressed. I used a no-skid rubber mat under it, and it didn't move when I was swinging away.Overall, the quality for the money can't be beaten. This mat is a great deal, and it is an excellent starter mat. It's showing zero wear after a week of punishing practice. The turf is well-designed and feels good on clean shots, and it catches your club on bad swings but doesn't jar you as bad as some cheap mats out there tend to do.

Finally!!!Finally, after trying about six different, hitting mats and never being impressed, this one comes along. This one is legit. It makes me actually feel like I'm in a professional driving range.The size is excellent. I am very tall, 6 foot seven, and I have plenty of room on this mat.The only question now is durability, and the only way will know the answer to that is through the test of time. I will be back to update this review if this product fails to be in the next year.If you don't hear from me, it's because I am loving life with this golf mat!
