Easy to use! Worked great! Quality is excellent! Highly recommend!

Simple to use, works well, has an alarm and is easy to read. I am visually impaired yet can see this well as it lights up and the numbers are bold. The magnetic part is strong, unfortunately, my oven only has metal on the bar that opens the oven, which is curved, so not an option. The unit has a built in stand, but I worried it would get knocked off the counter because the unit is light weight and attached to the probe. It also has the option of placing it on a nail and i was able to do this right next to the oven. The pre-settings are very convenient and can be adjusted up or down. My only complaint is that the instruction sheet is written so tiny that you need a magnifier to read it.

For the price of a burger, the quality is good enough, everything seems functional, but there’re some improvement needed, #1, the magnets placement is on the top, though strong but there’s a chance it could slip off, probably safer to just lay it flat or stand it up. #2, battery compartment is kind of hard to get to, #3, like most other digital thermometers, the preset temperature is off by about 7-10 degrees, “not sure why”, somehow the cooling period for the temperature rising above 7-10 degrees was never accounted for, therefore, if you use the preset temp, your meat will definitely be overcooked, but personally, I set my own desire temperature manually, so…no big deal. Overall, at this price range and it seems to work just fine, I would say its a good value.

Perfect use for a prime rib. Accurate and easy to use.

Mine was DOA. Discovered too late to return. Pulled it new out of the box for Thanksgiving dinner and temperature was not registering. Verified voltage and changed batteries just to rule out power source. Unit powered on OK but temperature probe was likely bad. Called and emailed Alpha Grillers customer service but they were NORDO.

EASY TO USE. MY SON TOLD ME TO TRUST IT MORE THAN THE DONE POPPER THAT COMES WITH THE TURKEY FOR DONENESS. MY TURKEY CAME OUT GREAT AND NEEDED ABOUT 15 MORE MINUTES OF COOKING TIME PER THE THERMOMETER.

Temperatures are accurate

Solo lo pude usar 2 veces, a la tercera lo coloqué sobre las llamas y se quemó el cable. Fue mi error pero aún así me parece que es muy delicado y tienes que usarlo con extremo cuidado, per para el asado a veces esto es dificil. Prefiero buscar una solución mucho más robusta.

It works fine

Should have bought one of these a long tie ago, much better than a stick thermometer. Use it all the time now, and have not blown a meal after about 20 times using this handy tool.

The instructions are very hard to follow (I believe the biggest problem was in the translation from the place of origin). It did take many people of all ages to get it where we wanted it. Should not be that complicated for a simple meat thermometer.
