I *LOVE* this this mount/wireless charger!! I currently have it mounted in my Jeep Cherokee for my Samsung S8 and Samsung Note8. I use the Anccer Galaxy Case [Colorful Series] [Ultra-Thin] purchased here on Amazon. With the case (which is one of the thinnest, tightest cases you can get), it slides off the magnetic mount and does not stay in place. So I use the provided metal ring for a stronger magnetic hold. I don't even need to use the self-adhesive backing to the metal ring to stick to my phone. Instead, I take the metal ring and place it inside the case, between the phone back and the case, and it just stays in place because of how tight the case is to the phone. With that, the phone w/ case sticks RIGHT to the mount with NO movement! The charge works fine; not Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge speed, but average charge speed. I definitely recommend this mount!

Not a fan of vent clip mounted anything but with all the textured surfaces in my car this seemed like a good option. The base works well as a stand as well. Wireless charging is not as fast as plug in charging but my phone says fast wireless charging when I place it on this charger. Works through my case and I like that it is magnericly hold my phone. Hold tight enough when the phone is properly placed that is doesn't fall or move under normal driving. Would consider this or similar product again for my next phone charger.

I’ve had this installed on my car for approximately four months. So far I’ve been extremely happy with it. It’s exactly what I was looking for as I hate clamp style phone mounts but I didn’t want to give up wireless charging. Comes with two metal rings (for two separate devices) which are supposed to be mounted on the outside of the phone. I did not do this. I have a thin Spiegen case, so I mounted both rings between the phone and the case. This is not perfect, however it holds my phone (iPhone 11) fairly securely. It would be even more secure if I mounted just one of the rings to the outside of the case, but I didn’t really want to do that.All in all, I’ve been very happy. Thinking about getting a second one for my wife’s car.

It was good work only 2 months. now it works very slowly, strange. I wanted to like this so much. It's slick, the metal ring fits inside my case, and with that, the magnet holds the phone really well. I loved it! But... The problem is the physics were not well thought out. I have an iPhone X, which has a glass back and requires the metal ring in/on the case. The charging speed is very slow even with a 2A USB plug, the magnetism caused by the metal ring interferes with the inductive charging current. Usually, I get about a 3% charge on my iPhone X in a 30 min drive. if I remove the metal ring from my case. I just can't recommend this, it charges too slow now to be useful...

its a charger, it charges. the adhesive and magnet seem to be good. the problem is the damn thing blinks all night. It is a phone charger, why do manufacturers feel the need to add LEDs to a phone charger? they dont pop on just once to let you know it connected, they just blink and blink all night long. I had bought this charger to go next to my bed for easy access. NOPE. that is not going to work, I had to unplug it because my wife couldnt sleep.

The concept is very appealing, the magnet and ring work great. It’s stable and has only come off once. Due to improper placement on my part. The issue I have is that the charger emits heat when charging, the is heat is transferred to the phone and renders it almost useless as it approaches dangerous temperature levels. It works great on days that the AC is on and the vent is open. Hopefully someone else has better luck.

This is a good wireless charger for the car. I use it with the vent clip, and I like how the clip is really just rubber that has to squish and not really a clip. It’s strong enough to hold my xs max, but it took me awhile to line it up perfect. I have it in the apple silicone case. It charges very slowly with the screen on, but really that’s all I wanted out of it. The right product at the right price.

Easy to install, works great.Just a couple of things to note. First, with the iPhone XS this will not "fast" charge. Not a fault of this charger, but the iPhone itself. Second, unless you use the metallic ring supplied under a case, it will rip right off the glass back if attached to the magnet when you go to remove your phone. The sticky tape on the back of it is laughable but a case should solve that problem.
