I just recently started using the oil for about a month now and have definitely seen a change in her coat & shedding!!!!! She's a very hairy girl and normally hair is all over the place, but recently we're noticing that it's not as much anymore!!!!! She definitely enjoys the taste on her food and doesn't mind the scent at all!!!!!

I haven’t noticed anything yet because I just got the second container but….. my golden retrievers LOVE THEM!! I have to give them each 2 because they weigh 55-60lbs. All I have to do is shake the container and they come running!!

Product smells expired

We started giving Salmon Oil to our dog to help with allergies, in combination with Apoquel. The symptoms were a lot of dry flaky skin and also an oily excretion. Once we got an Apoquel prescription we asked our Vet if we should stop Salmon Oil. He said to just keep using the Salmon oil along with Apoquel. He suggested once allergy season is over to try using just the fish oil until allergy season starts up again. We had another brand of fish oil on subscribe and save for probably the last year, but for whatever reason, it is no longer available.Picking this up to try as an alternative. Our dog can be a pretty picky eater, and she did eat these. As for value, I can only compare to what we were getting before. The other brand we were getting was only for 60, this is for 90, so while the cost of these are a little more per order, per unit, they are actually a little bit cheaper. We would have just stuck with the other brand if they were in stock, but if these work out well, hopefully they can be a goo alternative..I won't know long term if they work just as well, but my dog eats them (which is not always guaranteed), they are a little less expensive, and they have the Salmon Oil, which we can definitely vouch for how well the other product has worked. Well, it could just be the Apoquel, but through the combination of the two our dogs allergies are virtually gone and she is a much happier little dog.

What I like about these treats:We have 4 small dogs that each have their own skin issues. We have been giving them a liquid salmon oil that was recommended by our vet as well as some topical treatments. When I saw these treats I thought this would kill two birds with one stone. The dogs seem to really like the flavor of these treats and it gives me piece of mind that these treats provide some benefit vs most store bought treats. Between these treats and our liquid salmon oil I can say our dogs have had shiner coats and less skin issues.What I don't like about these treats:These treats are pretty dense and on the dry side. My weenie dog Snickers has no problem chewing them up and gobbles his down, for our other 3 dogs though, two yorkies and a pom with no teeth, we have to crumble them up for them first as they are too tough for them to chew.

Thankfully, our Labradoodles don't have any skin problems at all, and they don't shed even a little. I got these for the high-quality ingredients and, well, SALMON! Who doesn't love salmon treats, right?My boys certainly do! And they make that clear when I shake the container.
