Nice scanner does what is says so far. I haven't tried to reset battery, thankfully I don't need to yet. It did not come with any kind of manual so I guess they just assume you'll figure it out.

The page for the Ancel BMW-specific OBD tool implied I would need this for a 2001 BMW E53, but it's not necessary. Those trucks have the standard 16-pin OBD ports, not the old 20-pin round port. Going to return.
