To be clear, this is the "New Release" three color "Garden Light", model JF07-100RGB.When I ordered it from Amazon in mid-December, they said it would be a week before itwould be in stock to ship, so it probably is very new.In summary, it puts on an eye-catching and dazzling display that I was thrilled with.(On the other hand, my wife said it gave her a headache to watch!)But while the display is beautiful, and it appears to be well made, manufacturer supportis poor to non-existent.First off, ignore most of the reviews unless they say "Verified Purchase". It appearsthat a bot inflated the positive review star count in the period from August to September.Here are the problems I ran into with the Garden Light: 1. As others have said, battery insertion was a bit of a problem. It took me two tries to get it inserted. But I consider that a minor issue. 2. The remote seems to work well, except it's unclear what the R-G-B button does. On my remote it did absolutely nothing. The included documentation says nothing about what this button is supposed to do. 3. While the green and blue lasers projected with beautiful moving patterns, the red laser dots did not move at all. I assumed that they, too, should have moved. But, again, the documentation says nothing about this. Also, the red dots cover a smaller projection area than the green and blue dots. Unfortunately, no website video is available to demonstrate operational visual effects. 4. Upon startup, the projected dots are small, intense, and focused, as they should be. But after about 15 minutes of warm up, the dots expand about 50% into a shape resembling a parabola. I assume this is because the internal optics are heat sensitive. Yet the unit gets only mildly warm when running. 5. Since I wanted some clarification on these issues, I went to their advertised website, where you can fill out a form and receive some sort of reply. I did that... but never did get a reply. They also give an e-mail address for getting help. So I sent in an e-mail. I never got a response from that route either. Since the unit is made in China, maybe they don't have any employee there who can communicate in English? It's rare for a company to not respond to any attempt at communication with them.In summary, this is a marvelous 3 color laser projector that, sadly, is marred by a fewtechnical issues and non-existent support. Fix those issues and they'd have an absolutely wonderful product!

Seems solidly built. All three colors are bright. Several moving and stationary patterns with speed control and flashing options. Looks great pointed up at a tree even in winter with no leaves. I used one of those foam drink koozies with the bottom cut out as a baffle to keep stray beams from blinding drivers.

It was nice for the two weeks we used it. After christmas, we tried to use it to light up a room for a party and the green light doesn't come on anymore. Only the red and blue lights work. Nice build quality and all compared to plastic ones, but if the lights dont function, the build quality means nothing. By comparison, a cheap $25 plastic light that I bought is still going strong.

Not a great buy in retrospective. I went by the user reviews at that time, and was conned. But this device is not great. Red does not show properly. There is movement disk which makes the lights circle but this is only for the green light, there is nothing above the red light. Also, no concept of automatic turn on and turn off at a given time in the day and night. Dismal!!!

Here's the problem -- I think -- when snow covers part of the devise, the movement stops. If you live in an area with lots of snow, then this becomes a problem because I don;t want to trek out in the snow to uncover the light. Otherwise, it worked perfectly ... and, oh, don't take the stand apart, it is almost impossible to put back together.

Several of us bought these and love them--Still using it in January! Just fun to have all these lights whizzing around my yard at night. I often leave it on all night and when I wake up mid night (usually) I see them out my window! I have tall firs in my yard and these light them up with moving lights (red is stationary). Just cool!

I have had several variations of this style of light in the past. What brings this one above the rest for me is it’s accessories. Stakes, Tripod, & a Wall mount. It also comes with a multi-gimbal accessory to attach to the other accessories. The only downside for me is that there is only a concentration of Red lights in the center. Wish they were more dispersed throughout the display.

I was happy this light had red, green and blue lights. The red lights were stationary, but I was ok with that. Now I have about 50 hours of use and the lights no longer move. I’ll be tossing this in the trash.
