This is a beautiful incense holder and worth the price. I've used really cheap horizontal holders in the past and the holes are always drilled a little sideways so most of the incense stick isn't over the tray, which gets ash everywhere and defeats the purpose of an incense holder. This holder looks and feels high quality. It definitely has some weight to it, no defects, looks exactly as pictured. The variety in the hole size is very convenient because you don't need a separate holder for different types of incense. I use it for my normal sticks and mini woodless sticks, which are a bit wider.

Honestly, I love this incense holder! I know a lot of people have complained that the ashes spill over the side, but I think it's just better suited for incense that doesn't have a wood stick base (such as Japanese incense, I personally like Nippon Kodo). I only have Japanese incense at home and this base works perfectly for containing the ash, plus it is SO easy to remove the unburned base of the incense once it's done because the actual incense holder (the gold circle in the middle) can be picked up and removed. Plus, the constellations are just gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Works perfectly for my Japanese incense sticks and I was a little surprised by the quality for the price. It's not super heavy but it's solid carved wood (cheaper wood but still) I don't worry about fires starting on it and it holds sooooo much ash. The brass holder is easy to clean and will hold stickless and stick incense with the different holes. Definitely worth the price.

The product listing led me to believe that this item would be bigger than it is; in reality, I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. The sides are about the same length as the height of a playing card, whereas the photos in the listing made it look a little bigger. That being said, it looks nice and works perfectly fine - the only reason I docked a star off my rating is that there's no way to keep longer stick incense from falling all over as it burns. The base isn't large enough to catch the ashes even when the stick is pointing almost directly upright. But for the price and appearance, it's a solid enough choice.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It's well made and has been able to catch all the ash which is great. It holds the 3 types of incense brands I have including HEM, Satya, and Soul Sticks. Lovely upgrade from my old incense holder which looked like a wooden boat.

I originally purchased one for a gift, but liked it so much that I purchased one for myself too. I feel like it does catch the incense ash at the bottom very well, I believe I read some reviews that said otherwise, but I haven’t had that experience.

The wooden plate is suuuper tiny. The ash will fall off of the plate on first use because you won’t realize it’s too small for it’s intended use. Mind you, it is smaller than you think as it is, but I figured I’d do it’s job of catching ash… nope. Now I have to trim the incense before burning …. I imagined something at least twice the seize . It’s a nice Wood piece tho

Has three different size stick holes and can hold cones. It's pretty and easy to clean.
