Comfy and Durable! Worth the extra effort to pack it up
I’ve camped for years, and the LOSTHORIZON Air & Foam Camping Mattress is a game-changer. This 4.5" thick self-inflating pad is super comfy, feeling like a real bed. The air and foam mix lets you adjust firmness, perfect for a good night’s sleep. It’s great for all seasons with an R-value of 13, keeping you warm even in winter.Setup is easy with the included pump, though rolling it up takes some effort because of the thickness. It’s durable, made with strong materials like 30D Elastic Fabric, supports up to 440 lbs, and has a 2-year warranty. it’s a steal compared to pricier name-brand options that can run $250+The only downside is packing it up, but the comfort’s worth it. Highly recommend for tent or car camping!

Amazing - like sleeping at home
This mattress is amazing! I was initially thinking of getting one of those 4-5 inch thick air only camping mattresses for around $50-60, but after contemplating the relatively debilitating lower back pain I have from laying on surfaces that are too firm, I went with this one for about 5x the price. I was unsure about that decision until after our camping trip, and wow am I glad we got it! It was like sleeping on my own bed at home. I cosleep with our 5 month old and our 3 year old snuck in with me during our camping trip, so I really appreciated that when I got up, their part of the mattress didn't move at all. The thing takes up a lot of space when packing, but I am excited to have comfortable camping trips for years to come.Bonus that there was almost zero smell when we opened up the package! We're a non-fragrance added type of family.

So comfortable for camping/glamping!
I have the smaller blue one (75" x 25" x 4.5") and my husband has this one in brown that's longer and wider. They are pretty heavy so definitely not for hikers, but we can move them the several feet from the car to a tent pad just fine. We've been popping them on top of the ($67 here on Amazon) ultralight Marchway camping cots and it results in an easy to use, very comfortable sleeping set up. I don't have as much room side-to-side, but it feels very similar to my nice bed at home. Now that we've traded in our 4 man dome tent for a taller 6 man tent, we might eventually go for taller cots, but as I read through the reviews, I'm really not sure the taller cots will be as comfortable and easy to set up as the ones we already have? (I would welcome more storage space underneath and something a little easier to sit on and get in and out of, however.) The R value on these pads is 13 and it has made a nice difference on cold nights when we're up in the mountains. The kids just use therma-rest type pads on their ultralight cots and they have mentioned being terribly cold on some of their overnights. We've been snug even down to near freezing temps when we're in our bags on these pads. They pretty much self inflate, but hubby has an easier time than I do deflating them by using his weight to push the air out as he rolls up the pad. We also have the Lost Horizon pump. It makes fast work of inflating and deflating the pads, but I'd say it's not totally necessary. They roll up well and fit into the included bags which have a nice roll-top design that seems to keep them secure from bugs, dirt, etc. If you camp as we do, where it's only a few feet from your vehicle to the tent, I highly, highly recommend these. We bought these two years ago and they've been wonderful for us!

Great for roof top tents. Not so great for car camping etc.
Awesome for a roof top tent, lame for car camping. This review is after about 10 nights of camping/sleeping on it since purchase a month ago (mostly in a roof top tent scenario). We bought a queen sized w/pump to replace the original sad little 2 inch foam mattress in our roof top tent. It's awesome for that. Shrinks down even thinner than the original for easy packing away to the point that we can leave all our bedding and the mattress in the tent and just fold it up and go, but man... we used it once for a car camping situation in which we couldn't bring our roof top tent equipped vehicle and this thing is massively annoying to lug around and to breakdown and get back into its bag. I imagine it would be even worse without the pump. Can't recommend it (at least the queen size) for anything other than a roof top tent type scenario (or maybe a spare mattress for guests at home). We won't likely take this purely car camping again. One other little nitpick is I wish it had a little PSI gauge somehow to try and get some kind of consistent comfort level. Fully inflated is way too firm, and self inflated only (valves open but no pump used) is a little too soft. Judging how many seconds of pump time is the only method I've come up with so far, but it would be awesome to be able to say "I like it at 2 psi," and be able to hit that consistently.5 stars for roof top tent situations, 3 stars for car camping (and anyone thinking about backpacking with this is a masochist, lol!), ultimately leads me to a 4 star review.

Most comfortable camping sleep
I’ve tried a few different camping sleeping situations, and this beats them all! Regular air mattresses always seem to loose air in the night, but because this is a combo foam/air, it stays comfortable all night. No feeling like you’re sinking into bed! My kids did jump on it, and while it’s something I discourage, it didn’t seem to affect the mattress at all.We have a Coleman 6 person “instant cabin” tent, and comfortably fit two double mattresses side by side. It was the most successful sleep set up we’ve tried with 2 adults and 2 little kids (6 & 3) so far, so we’ll definitely be using this set up going forward!
