I bought this just before Christmas when a guest speaker talked about it in our church. I immediately looked up and bought it right away. This is a quality book. Hard bound with heavy gloss paper and nice art inside and out. But the real value is inside. I couldn't put it down. If you've ever wanted to know more indepth details about the Christmas story, a detailed and true explanation of the birth of Jesus, this is the book to buy. It's worth every penny. If you've ever had questions like: why those shepherds? what made them so special? details about the "wise men", why do only Luke and Mark detail these events, why Nazareth? and so much more... buy the book! I took my book over my daughter's house for Christmas Eve with her and her kids + a few friends. They aren't all as familiar with scripture as my husband and I are, but I've insisted on continuing the tradition my mom started of reading the Christmas Story before we open any presents. I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool! It's so factual, it will speak to those who are kind of "on the fence".

I've wanted this item for a couple years and finally bought myself a gift. This book has information concerning the story of Jesus that is seldom told. It answers a lot of Biblical questions that you won't find in the Bible. Rick Renner did a lot research for this book so we can enjoy the true Christmas Story. Thank you Rick Renner.

I learned things I never knew about Mary, Joseph and Jesus.

Goes into more details than the Bible . Very informative and tells you other details that the Bible doesn’t .

This is an amazing book that really goes into the details of Christmas. We started reading it together and learned a lot of stuff we had no idea about. Its a perfect book to read as a family at night before Christmas. Start early though, like right after Thanksgiving. It is a bigger book.

While I’ve been a Christian for the last 36 years, after delving into this remarkable book, I learned far more than I ever expected about the birth of JESUS! It’s a must for every Christian to read! Rick Renner does an amazing job on his research and presentation! Not to mention the book alone is a stunning coffee table addition!

Oh my goodness! If you're not familiar with Rick Renner, you should look into his amazing teaching style and his wealth of knowledge! I watch him on TV, and so far I bought three of his awesome, fact-packed books. It's not expensive, when you consider the content and the years the author had to study to gain so much information. Last year, I heard his teachings on Christmas, the wisemen, how old Jesus was when these "wisemen" located Him and bore gifts. Gave me the chills! I am going to buy a few more and send them as gifts. It explains things that I could never fully explain. Not the easiest read meaning that you will get your money's worth for sure!! Take your time and read this. You will love it!! This is a book that details more than just the birth of Christ. It goes beyond with details, pictures, and great understanding.

Love the message and everything about the book. Makes a perfect coffee table book but is a must read and the pictures are beautiful too.

This is the first book that gives a detailed depiction of Christ. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Encourage anyone to read it!
