I use these often on metal auto equipment to grind the area where large pins go. These are wonderfully easy to swap out. Using a small screwdiver you loosen the screw which makes the rubber shrink, once the sandpaper cylinder is on, tighten the screw. These are great and are used often. Having so many is nice knowing we won't need to order for a long while and yes some are used rough and to the point all the grit has come off, but they work great. Also the price is great.

These sanding drums work well. There are several sizes for different uses. They fairly quickly wear out and sometimes fly dangerously off my rotary tool, but they are just sanding drums. I don't expect much. It is a consumable product. I use goggles when using the drums, so I don't get hurt when they spit and fly off the tool.

Listen- this is alot of tools for the price. And they arrived in just a few short days, uber fast delivery. I used one medium drum and one small drum. I needed to hog some aluminum off an outdoor sports piece I have. My drums that cane with my Dremel were too big of diameter for the space I had. I had one slippage, on the smaller drum. But I was applying a good amount of pressure. Otherwise the sander stayed on the drum just fine. I tightened them down pretty good. It is just one grit- but for my job its perfect. I did burn through them pretty quick. You can see in the picture how I wore down the grit to the belt. That was about 30 seconds of straight use and pressure on aluminum. After applying less pressure and more movement they lasted much longer. Used two on the medium drum and two on the small drum for a 5 minute job. Much better than the $15-$20 ones at the local hardware store.

I liked this product- multiple mandrels for each size ; wide selection of sanding drums. Nice tight case to keep everything together too. Only could wish for one additional thing-- how about a 3/4 inch mandrel and drums?-- It came with 4 x 1/2 inch mandrels-- the larger drums reduce faster and last longer - they also are easier to control. This is a good choice if you need hobby sanding drums . This kit almost hits all the marks for small project work - worked well in dremel tool and my drill press.

The quality on these isn't great. You will go through a large number of drums as they delaminate. They work better on softer material, but use on metal will often just cause they to split and go flying. Luckily you get a bunch of them and several sizes of mount for them. I've found they are adequate to use with plastic, soft wood and the like. And it save having to use the good Dremel brand ones. But trying to use them on metal is a lesson in frustration. Good: -They are inexpensive -They work decently on soft material -You get a lot of them, so when they break you can just swap another one. -They come with multisized grommet. The Bad: -The just fall apart when used on metal or harder items. Better luck with aluminum than with steel, but the lifespan is very limited. -Often you will spend a lot of time changing roles which could be avoided with better quality sanding wheels like Dremel.
