The collar size indicated above is the middle hole on the collar with two hole below and two holes above. Sizing - simply measure your dog's neck with a finger under the measuring tape. Round up to the nearest odd number, and that is the size you want. Example: Your dog's neck measures 18.25 inch. Round up to 19 inches and that is the size you want. Also, keep in mind with the five inches of adjustment, a 19 inch collar will adjust from 17 inches to 21 inches.
