it came sharp. lose the paracord it's cheap and gets in the way.

The knife design is impressive. It's a short, broad blade probably right at home at skinning small to medium sized game. The blade is SHARP as a razor. It has gimping in the appropriate places. The grip scales have sharp edged ripple-style texture that gives it a very secure feel in the hand. Probably not removable as the scale secures the knife in the sheath.There's a long length of orange paracord wrapped around the bottom part of the grip, giving more secure grip. There's far too much cord hanging off the end of the knife, probably 24 inches of it. Trimming it down would be helpful.On my particular knife, the blade surface was slightly discolored in a few small places. The sheath is the weak point. It doesn't hold the knife securely. The knife can pop out very easily. And it's really not well designed. It needs two holes for neck wear, but only has one. And it really isn't well designed for any other style of carry. There are too few holes places in the wrong places. There's no option for wearing on a belt or waistband.The best place for the knife is probably in a backpack, purse, or glove compartment. Someplace where it isn't subjected to dynamic forces and where it can't cause injury when it falls out of the sheath.

Perfect little knife. I love the design and it is small enough to fit in my tight jean pocket perfectly. Quality build, sturdy and yes SHARP! 5 stars!
