The follow up to BK 1 in the piano lessons trilogy. A good step up and equally good as BK 1
Ok so lets see...either go through 10 pupils and gradually experiment with how to teach, or start on the right foot with this excellent teaching resource for piano teachers, parents and perhaps music teachers as well. This is aimed at younger starters but will work equally well with any age group as long as they are willing. It could also be part of a self teaching resource for adult starters. While there are many good teachers and methods out there, this has to be one of the best. Nothing fancy, nothing outlandish, just good, useful common sense approach to helping youngsters pick up the piano. There is a recognition that no one is immune to boredom so there is plenty to keep youngsters happy like duets and other fun exercisesAll in all a good product. The second in the series and therefore a step foreword from the previous book

Suitable for grade 3 students
As a piano teacher, I believe that this book would be suitable for someone who has got grade 3-type pieces under their belt. It is therefore a bit of a misnomer to call it book 2.The content is varied between technical exercises, explanation of theory points and pieces. However it was far too hard for this particular adult student and I went back to trusted Micahel Aaron 2 (the general book, not the one for adults) instead.

A great series!
I can't add to my previous review about Book 3. I use Book1 as well as I can find nothing to beat this series. I find each book moves quite fast and so for slower pupils I use another book in conjunction with the series, sometimes buying second hand copies to lend out. There is another piano primer for the younger child, and I've used that as well.

Great book in a great series
A fantastic book for anyone learning the piano. Easy to follow music and suitable for all grades. Beginners may find some of the music a little difficult to follow but persevere and it will be worth it. The higher grades of student will find the music easy, but very enjoyable. A great book from a great author and seller.

The legendary Fanny Waterman - still the best piano course there is.
Fanny Waterman's piano course has taught more people to play the piano successfully than any other.I learned with it, and now I am delighted to be buying these for my daughter.
