It is not the gauzey stuff but actual bags made from the material. You can easily put the bag in a measuring cup, pour through whatever you are needing to strain and squeeze to remove every drop. They can then be washed (I did mine by hand) and air dry for next time.

I didn't originally purchased to strain nuts but to strain watery veggies; like squash, zucchini, peppers and such. When I put my vegetables through the processor they are sometime too watery and these bags help strain the water from them.

I used to strain blended juices. It works well. The smaller size fits perfectly over my small mason jar.

These ARE NOT the disposable kind. Actual fabrics. The two really big bags are really big bags. I bought to make cold brew coffee and personal tea blends. The bigger size would be for industrial size applications or storage. Excellent value for the money. Can be washed and reused.
