Olympicco 3mm Turkish Coffee Pot with Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee Review
I decided a few months back that learning about how to make great coffee would be a fun hobby. After all I have been drinking coffee since I was 6 years old.Turkish coffee and Turkish coffee pots interest me since electricity is not used in a traditional Turkish coffee maker. And several coffee friends of mine have raved about the taste of Turkish coffee and how fun it is to make.Turkish coffee is very strong (which Is great for me) and is traditionally served in demitasse cups much like espresso. But Turkish coffee is much less expensive to make as compared to buying an espresso machine and I think that Turkish coffee tastes better than the espresso I get from Starbucks.I did a bunch of research on Amazon and decided to learn and read reviews about Turkish coffee, Turkish coffee pots and Turkish coffee makers that are Prime eligible for 2 day delivery.I came across the Olympicco brand as a seller of premium quality Turkish coffee pots that have a 3mm thickness. Just the right amount for a single demitasse cup and holds up well on electric stovetops - see review concerning the handle
Since I don't have a burner setup in my apartment, I just use my electric stovetop. It works fine on a medium-high setting. The ibrik is just the right amount to fill my little single-serving demitasse cup to the brim. The turkish coffee has some nice polyphenols as well, as you can see a little rainbow gloss over the bubbles after you pour. Concerning the handle, well... mine came with a little handle that kept unscrewing loose, and then, I would keep tightening it until the handle would just spin around permanently. A quick phone call with a rep and they agreed sent a bigger handle and it fits better.

Excellent Quality Product and Customer Service. First let me start by saying that this has a great sturdy feel, beautiful detail and craftsmanship. I've only had it a few weeks but it definitely feels like a "buy it for life" kind of product. I ordered this the week before Valentines day as a present for my wife who is obsessed with coffee. I was a little nervous it would not arrive on time so I contacted the seller and let them know I would greatly appreciate it if they could somehow make sure it would arrive before Valentines Day. The responded very quickly and even over-nighted it at no extra cost and provided a personalized thank-you note with the invoice. It really made me feel good about buying this product when I felt the connection to real, local, people taking a lot of care. We couldn't be happier with it. It makes great turkish coffee, The metal is thick to disperse the heat evenly, and a wide enough base to fit stable on my gas stove.

This looks and feels great, heavy. Works well for Greek coffee, I am able to get the "cream" on top of the pot.

The pot itself was great, heavy, sturdy, nice handle. Had higher expectations for coffee itself. It was good but I bought better in stores. But altogether I was happy with purchase.
