As soon as the travel tray arrived, my son was super excited to use it, which worked out perfectly since we were in the car a lot that day with after school activities for his older sister and various errands. He was so happy to have all of his stuff right there for him in his own space and it kept him busy and engaged. The tray is very well constructed and I love the bright colors. I also like how it keeps things with him, like books and art supplies, so he isn't just in front of a screen. He can also engage with real, physical toys. Best of all, I like how easy it is to fold up and take with us... into a restaurant, doctor's office, etc. So no matter where we go now, my son is occupied and on good behavior. Makes me a happy mama!

We were excited to get the kid's travel tray in anticipation of a family road trip. However, the product arrived smelling so strongly of cigarette smoke that we immediately returned it: everyone in the house agreed we could not imagine being in a car with the smell, and that it would likely not dissipate sufficiently with time. The Amazon box was fine- the travel tray was in a sealed plastic bag and the odor was not evident until we took it out of the plastic. Smelling like cigarettes is not what we are looking for in children's products, regardless of how useful they would be!

We ended up returning this, but only because my daughter didn’t like it. Excellent quality though!

My son just turned two and we've had this for quite a while, but have really only used it so far to hold a phone or tablet in the clear pocket for videos. We tried using the play surface for his cars while traveling, but the cars didn't stay on the mat for long. The surface is flimsier than I would have thought for a writing/coloring surface, which also makes it less attractive for playing with his cars. I'll keep trying to use it in different ways but to this point it hasn't been a big win.

My kids love it. In addition, the pockets on the side really come in handy. It kept them busy on the way.

We ordered one of these and it looked great, but it reeked. It smelled like a second-rate motel, even after airing it outside and spraying it with Febreeze! We thought it might be someone else's return, so we ordered a different one. It arrived today. This new one smells the same. It's going right back. I can't imagine spending any time in the car with this foul odor! I wish I had read the other 1 star reviews. They all mention the smell.

I was so excited to use this product on an upcoming road trip but as others have mentioned, it arrived & had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. It seemed like someone tried to Febreze it. It was also a little dirty- perhaps I got one that someone else returned? It also had a dryer sheet tucked inside- I thought it was tissue paper for the packaging at first but indeed it was a dryer sheet after taking it out. So disappointed, will be returning.
