Shift lever Extension for the BMW R1200GS R1200RT, and many others. Made out of 6061 aluminum and then clear anodized, with black nylon end. The nylon end helps soften your shifting and reduce boot wear. Plus, its nice if your shifter touches the ground lowered pegs or if your having a fun time pushing your bike. This extender comes in Silver, with Black Nylon Slider. Works on Most BMW motorcycles with the OEM Rubber shifter pad (should measure around 19mm). If you have a high mileage bike and you OEM shifter pad is worn you may need to install a new rubber shifter pad for this extension to work properly and not fall off. Should fit the following bikes. Not as pictured and won't fit
Not as as described in the description or pictures. This does not fit on a 2005 BMW R1200RT. There is no way to get it onto the existing shift knob without cutting the rubber. Thus leaving a shaft that was then to thin.

I was missing gears at times on my R NineT, so I purchased this extension with the plastic end so it wouldn't scuff up my shoes or boots. It fits near perfect and works great! No more mis-shifts and I haven't noticed any scuff marks on my boots. I highly recommend this lever extension.
