I have severe dry mouth from radiation treatment of oral cancer, and the medication my oncologist prescribed has uncomfortable side effects. So I depend on these, which keep my mouth moist with no side effects. I have to use the Mint-free, because of mouth sensitivity, and these are the only thing I've found that fill the bill. Nice flavor, they hide unobtrusively tucked onto my gums alongside my molars, and one lasts for hours. I find I can even eat with a lozenge in place, so I keep one there throughout the day and also at night while I sleep. Even at this price, they cost less than the prescription medication that is covered by my insurance.

I use these xylimelts at night for mouth dryness from my CPAP machine. Using two tabs works sll night. I have been using this medication for over ten years.

These seem to work than anything else for dry mouth. I use a tablet at night with my CPAP machine. Flavor could be a little stronger, but fine as is.

My doctor recommended Biotene because the medicine I'm taking causes dry mouth. I've tried the Biotene lozenges, mouthwash and mouth spray. None of them last long. The lozenge is like a piece of candy and it's hard not to bite into it subconsciously. If I'm able to resist, it still doesn't last near as long as the Xylimelts. The mouth wash lasts a few minutes at best. The mouth spray, well, let's just say you can't be spraying it in your mouth every five minutes while having a conversation.At first I was skeptical of the Xylimelt; I didn't like the idea it sticking to my gums. But I tried it, and love it. You can put it in and almost forget about it and it lasts a long time. I'll be buying more of these.

I've tried other products but so far these work the best and taste the best. I have very dry mouth due to medications. I just pop one in my cheek when I go to bed and they last about 2/3 of the way through the night. Makes sleeping easier.

These were recommended by my dentist for dry mouth and they work! The biotin mouth wash doesn't last me all night but these xylitol tabs which naturally stick to you teeth all night do. They dissolve slowly all night so that when you wake they are all gone. Its a brilliant invention really. You dont have to worry about choking since they stick to your teeth till fully dissolved. I buy the mild sweet as I found it to be the best taste for me but they have mint as well. Definitely worth buying if you struggle with dry mouth at night!
