Product work great for my job.

At first look they seem great, but thread taps in bulkhead fittings are poorly done. I will need to tap out 2 of the 4 that I got. The plugs go in best from the long end of the bulkhead fitting. Unfortunately that's not what I had planned with the faucets I chose.Also there is only 1 silicone washer for barrel side not 2.

Excellent Product. It does what it’s supposed to do.

It drilled me a hole real good, then let me plug it up.

I recently bought a 60-gallon rain-barrel and drain-pipe divertor to fill it. Neither product contained the means to connect them together, so I ordered this kit of bulkhead fittings from Qitdathan. Each fitting is installed into a 1½” hole cut into the barrel wall. A hole saw was supplied with the product to cut these holes. However, this tool was very badly made – the saw blade freely rotated on the drill spindle and so wouldn’t cut anything. I found that the securing grub screw was cross-threaded into the hole that secured the blade. The screw was tightened so hard and was made from soft metal and had been damaged during assembly. I had to drill out this screw and fit another, better-quality, screw. After all that, I was able to properly secure the blade and cut some holes in my barrel.Once a hole was finally cut, it was easy to install one of these bulkhead fittings. There are left-hand threads on these fittings and so care had to be taken during installation not to drop parts into the barrel because they wouldn't screw on as normal. I assume that the reverse threads are to stop the fitting from becoming loose as the tube/spigot connections are loosened.I used ¾” reinforced PVC tubing to make the connection between the drain-pipe diverter and one of these bulkhead fittings installed on the rain-barrel. I needed to buy some nylon barbed connectors and stainless-steel tube clamps to attach the tubing to the bulkhead fitting (see photo). I made a second installation of one of these fittings in my barrel for an overflow outlet using the same tubing.Once installed, everything worked well. The included soft plastic o-rings and PTFE tape gave a good water-tight seal.The only other comment I have is that the finish of the molded bulkhead fitting was very rough and variable in color. However, I don’t think that this will affect its performance.In summary, these fittings do the job. However, they don’t look good, and the cutting tool was almost junk. Hopefully, now everything is installed, the system will continue to work for a long time, and I can effectively forget about it.

This kit made it easy for making holes in my rain barrels. The holes were sealed pretty good with the plugs that screwed in. All was easy. The only challenge was the threads inside were opposite to what is normal.

This is just too thick in the outer diameter to fit through a drilled aquarium. I tested it on a drilled 65 and a 90 and neither would accept it, I ended up ordering one specific for aquariums. That being said, if you are drilling your own aquariums then it might work or if you are using this on a watering trough or rain barrel it will definitely work. I only a star because it is listed for aquariums and does not work for them. It also includes the plugs so you can close off the inside if there is a maintenance need and not lose water, assuming you can reach the inlet.

Used these for a rainbarrel overflow spigot!Worked like a damn hotter!Excellent quality at a reasonable price!
