It's two of my daughters birthday's today. they just finished opening their gift and i finally got it assembled and BOTH cars broke in MULTIPLE places by sweet little girls playing gentle. one car never actually worked. this track can't handle a sneeze in its direction or it may fall apart. the cars definitely can't handle falling three inches off the track. this is the absolute worst. i am so crushed that i failed my angels by buying such a piece of junk toy. we are headed to T@rget and i am gonna think twice next time i trust amazon reviews. it's too late for me to return this but i hope the seller reads this and wants to make it right. this should be a $20 track. such a shame and waste of money.

Well! my grandson came over for Xmas and we love playing with this together. He is just turning 4 years old and has a blast.... or should I say I also have a blast with him. Bought two extra cars seeing I thought one would probably break with the kit but nope both cars work great ! These things are tough to break on this track. They work well. For the price of an entry level slotcar track I highly recommend this track for smaller children upto around 7 or 8 years old and then move onto larger sets. You ll have hours of fun with your kids I highly recommend this track and the seller Well done

I wish everyone would have opened the box before they left their review. I too had a moment of panic when I saw the two windows where cars are suppose to be were empty. I was soon relieved to find the cars were down inside the box. This set is far from perfect. The cars are kinda finicky. Make sure the tires are on the wheels straight and the brushes on the bottom are sticking out where they can touch the rails and everything seems to work pretty good. I started with and easy oval arrangement of track for me and my 5 year old son to get the hang of it. Then I added the loops. He is still adjusting to that as it takes some slowing and speeding up to make the loop and not fly off the turn. I have to adjust the brushes and push a tire back on straight from time to time, but this is alot easier than it sounds and is obvious what needs to be done. Just a little manipulation with your fingers, no big deal. The track was pretty easy to put together. Just follow the diagram for the version you have. We have three hours playtime with no issues and no forseeable problems. I do like the size of the cars. Not too small or too big.

Very disappointed. Missing pieces. My 8 year old grandson received this for Christmas. When we set up the track the bridge support pieces were missing. We did use small pieces of wood for supports. He sometimes gives up trying to race the cars, they don't always run. Yes the connections have been checked.

This is an example of a product that is so bad it deserves negative stars! First of all, the person that designed the package gives stupid a bad name. The front of the box shows 2 empty slots which look like that were designed to hold the race cars but since those slots are empty it looks like the cars were removed from the package before it was sent. My wife was ready to return the product unopened because she thought the cars had been removed by perhaps a previous buyer. When she went to Amazon she noticed that there was now a large bullet point stating the cars were indeed inside the box, just not in the visible slots which were designed to hold the cars. Dumb!Trusting that to be true, we opened the box and yes, we found the cars inside the box. Next we attempted to assemble the race track. We found the trestles which were included to add lift to portions of the track were at least 1/4" too narrow to be able to clamp onto the tract. This cause them to fall every time a car passed over them, resulting in a crash. We tried to overcome this by wedging other items under the track. This wasn't a perfect solution but certainly better than using the trestles which were supplied.As for the lighted circular parts of the track, please keep the box handy because the lights shown in the picture on the box didn't work on the track itself. If you kept the box, you could at least look at the picture of a lighted track. Thats as far as it gets.Last, when we finally were able to use the cars, they either fell off the center of the loop and shot out of the loops so quickly that the cars flew off the track. Six reasonably intelligent adults tried but no one could get the cars to complete the loop without the cars either falling or leaving the track completely.Bottom line. It's a good thing we kept the box and that Amazon will allow us to return this product by 1/31/18. it's going back! I am on my way to my local UPS drop off as soon as I complete this review.

My son loved it - but one of the controllers broke after less than a day of use ! not too sturdy

We bought this car track in November, which arrived two weeks ago (for customs reasons), we installed it and the runway worked for two laps of the cars and did not work again,The truth is we are very disappointed with the product and we want you to give us an answer to the situation.This was a Christmas gift from my son and he is very disappointed.Please tell me how to proceed in this case

Don't believe all the comments about missing cars. They don't show through the packaging as the were designed to. Mine like the offering says were pack in side the box for safer protected shipping in bubble wrap. At least one of these was honest enough comment that he found them in the box, but he didn't change his rating. This is a good set for the money. The cars have a magnet which makes them stick to the track better and hang on in the loop better. We bought it for a grandson for Christmas. He will love it. So did I, I had to check it out and make sure it works. :-)
