You don’t need sugar to get this medicine down!
These black garlic cloves are so very delicious I have to fight with myself to not eat the whole bag in one sitting. It’s like eating the richest, warming, most exotic fruit.However as delicious as they are, their immune building properties surpass the flavor experience.Everyone in my household recently came down with a fierce flu. As soon as I saw the first person with the sniffles I went into panic because I have a very weak immune system and flus weaken me and last a lot longer than anyone else. The funny thing is that I had been treating myself to these goodies later on the recommendation of my holistic physician. I had almost finished the bag when everyone was sick, all except me, who had the mildest of symptoms for only 2 days. That is a very rare occurrence and I can only attribute it to the garlic.I didn’t do it this time, but if I ever develop a bad flu again, I will treat myself to this garlic with real manuka honey, a delicious one two punch!!!

Black garlic is SO good! I could eat this bag in a few days. These are not much work...not like peeling fresh garlic! There is a slight dampness that could be perceived as sliminess, but my hands barely had any black on them after peeling one bulb after another in ravenous fashion. I don't know...I guess if you think eggs come in a carton that you pour maybe you would prefer the kind already peeled in a jar. Unlike the eggs though, you'll pay more for the convenience.

Black garlic is not carried in any grocery store for a 30 mi radius in my area, so I was thrilled to find these on Amazon and have bought them several times. Mine have always arrived with an expiration date out 10 to 12 months. Appreciate that they are made / fermented in the United States.Black garlic has a unique and delicious taste - a slight tang and a mild sweetness with complex and umami notes. A TOTALLY different product from regular garlic bulbs. And it's amazing how the fermenting process does not affect/ discolor the outer paper-like skin of the garlic bulb, just the cloves inside. I enjoy black garlic in stir frys and eating them plain.

The garlic was so bad
Opened the bag 2 days ago , all the garlic was bad. Late for return. Just lost 27 dollars in the garbage

Finally! US grown
So pleased that there is a US source for fermented black garlic on Amazon. The first few cloves that i have tried have been everything they needed to be. Great flavor and texture.

Great stuff. Organic garlic grown here in the US.Why do people complain? Of course, the plastic bag will show moisture if the black garlic is peeled. This is not dried black garlic. Just get the whole garlic, if it bothers you. The peels on the whole garlic help keep everything together.Honestly, most foods have so many desiccants added that people have become ignorant. Some people think salt naturally stays dry! If you buy peeled black garlic that is dry, it means the seller dumped in chemicals to keep it dry...to keep buyers from whining. There is nothing natural in the black garlic making process that will keep a clove whole in a bag during shipping. It is fairly delicate.
