Basically a perfect digital photo frame
I don’t normally bother leaving Amazon reviews, but this product is pretty much perfect. Setup was a piece of cake, my mum managed it! No accounts or passwords, you just turn on the device and enter some basic details (eg time zone, WiFi etc), then you download an app on your phone, and the frame gives you a code to type into the app and it’s all paired and good to go. Uploading pictures is effortless, quick, and works well. I was extremely dubious of the screen, but speaking as someone who does not enjoy a low quality screen this tablet looks great, and does photos from latest gen iPhones a real service. Brightness is fine, colours look good, and the resolution is honestly as good as you would ever need, and that was my biggest worry. We had a great afternoon as a family sending over photos and reminiscing. ~500 high quality iPhone pictures have taken up 2.5ish gb, so the 16gb will hold approaching 2000 photos I reckon (at one every 20 seconds that’s over three hours of photos before looping), not sure if you can use an external card yet, but it does have a slot. Videos are supported and are pretty good, but are reduced to a slower frame rate. Looks fine on the display though. The frame software feels good and easy to use, hardly any bloat, and starts showing images from power up on its own. Has a sleep function. There are potentially some very specific things which you could imagine being nice additions, such as zooming in gently on photos, different sleep schedules per day of the week, etc, but that’s pretty nit picky from me. It’s a lovely tablet, and I’m very pleased for the price. Much better than the old offline SD card ones which you never got around to updating images on, or dull/pixelated lcd displays. Nice frame too.

GREAT FRAME - BUT BEWARE OF UPDATES TO THE SOFTWARE
This is a great frame. 15" is big enough to actually see the photos from a distance. It plays JPEG and movies (with sound). You can add a memory card to get more photos. It allows backups to that card. The app works well and it easy to use. WARNING: turn OFF updates to the software in the Menu system. I had to rebuy this frame when, after one year of working perfectly, I allowed an software update. After that, it wouldn't reboot and it effectively broke the frame. There is no RESET button this frame, so once it's broken then it can't be fixed. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT.

Dissapointing
Worked ok for a few weeks. Easy to upload photos from the app. Photos kept getting stuck on same photo and had to be switched on and off daily. Now it turns on and then screen goes black. Tried emailing company for support but no reply.

Great Frame
I was a bit hesitant buying this frame as some reviews said about it breaking down when unplugged. So far it is working perfectly fine. I only use it as a display for my cakes at wedding fairs. It does warn when turning it on, to only unplug it after turning it off properly, just like with a computer. I have used it a few times now, and had no problems. The only negative thing to mention is the support it comes with. It is a short stick of plastic, that you have to screw into the back of the frame. It give OK support if you use the frame in landscape position, but nowhere near enough to use it in portrait. Luckily I have an easel I can mount it on, so this is not a problem for me. Generally great looking frame, easy to load with images and also offer the option for playing from memory disc. It is a 1:3 ratio frame, so I did have to edit some of my images to fit perfectly. The adjustments offered by the frame are limited. Arrived well packed and on time.

Easy to setup, simple to use, Great UI. Let down by broken adaptor plug.
This is seems to be a rebrand of a generic model that is supplied by several sellers on Amazon. In all cases, its more or less the same unit with a different border frame, but running the same software and with the same specs. The best thing is the UI, its super easy to setup and send photos via wifi, or to import from an micro sd card. Once on the unit, it does a great job or displaying them, with a very simple fit to frame option that can be toggled on or off per photo, allowing you to choose the best layout for each photo individually. I bought another unit by another brand for my dad, and this unit works in exactly the same way. Only 2 issues, firstly the cable is a little short, not much more than 1 meter, so you might need an extender if hanging on a wall. Secondly, after shutting down and unplugging on the first day, then moving to another power socket and plugging in on the 2nd day, the unit didnt respond at all. Turns out its the USB plug that was the culprit, it had failed on the 2nd use, and I had to switch to use another USB plug to get it to switch on. Bit of a shame, if I didn't happen to have another USB plug handy, I would have thought the frame had failed and would have send it back. Thats the risk of buying such a cheap rebranded frame from China, the cheapest parts will be used. However, the frame itself is fantastic. If not for the plug would have been 5 stars.

Ourstanding SmartFrame and excellent customer survice
I have been delighted with my Byybuo SmartFrame. It was really securely and snugly packaged; there was almost zero possibility of it getting damaged in transit. It took me longer to open the packaging than it took me to set the frame up. I am a bit of a technophobe, but it could not have been easier. It was on the wall and displaying photographs with minutes. The display quality is outstanding (far superior to another well-known photo frame supplier!) and there are many options as to how the photographs are displayed. One is able to set times for the frame to wake up and turn off so that power is conserved overnight. Having said all this, it developed a technical problem - this is where the excellent customer service came into play. An intermittent fault developed within days of receipt, but I was able to remedy the problem by restarting the unit. Within about six weeks, however, this solution no longer worked. I contacted the supplier with trepidation, but they were extremely helpful and cooperative. A photograph and the exchange of several emails enabled the supplier's technical departmet to identify the problem - a fault in the mother board - and a replacement was sent to me within days. The whole problem was resolved within a week. The new frame is up on the wall and functioning perfectly. It is so refreshing to receive such excellent customer service - a scarce quality nowadays!

Great value and functionality
I first bought one of these in December 2022 as a gift for my mum, and sadly it stopped working a couple of months later. Byybuo's customer service is great, and arranged for me to send it back to them and get it replaced. Sadly DPD lost the frame on it's return journey, the aftermath of which is still on going... However, despite currently being out of pocket I have just purchased another two frames - they really are that good! The first is to replace the gift for my mum, and the second is to go in our home after realising how great the functionality of the frame is. It's based on an Android operating system, so easy to setup and configure, simply connect it to your wifi, check for updates and then you're ready to invite people to send photos to your frame. Using the app 'Frameo' you can add the unique ID number for your frame and then push photos to it over the internet. Photo uploading is really quick, and image quality on the frame is excellent considering its price point. My only criticism, other than the first frame I purchased stopping working, is that the power cable is a bit short This is easily extended either with a USB extension cable at the power plug end, or with a DC jack extension at the frame end.

They all die in the end
I’ve now bought several of these frames. The longest one has lasted not even a year. All the others either died after a few months or a few more months. It’s terrible, either the screen goes scrambled or the entire thing won’t turn on anymore. They just die all of a sudden. What a mistake to buy these.
