OW CORNING 340 HEAT SINK COMPOUND. A grease-like silicone material, heavily filled with heat conductive metal oxides. This combination promotes high thermal conductivity, low bleedand high-temperature stability. The compound resists changes in consistency at temperatures up to approximately 350ºF (177ºC). In doing so, it helps maintain a positive heat sink seal to improve heat transfer from the electrical/electronic device to the heat sink or chassis, thereby increasing overall efficiency of the device.
