Great Product for Book Lovers
This is a great product for mending the spines of old books. I used it to repair a Bible I was given in 1971, and it did a wonderful job. This is actually some form of cloth tape that doesn't crack and yellow like old scotch tape. When I was a kid our church used a similar product to repair the hymnals that they couldn't afford to replace. I think the repaired books lasted another 15 years or so. I was thrilled to find this tape on Amazon.

Very strong and sticks just fine.
I have some vintage notes books from my husband’s grandfather, Bible, and collectible books. Had to bond outside because the covers were falling off. It worked wonderful easy to do. But the only problem was cutting with the scissors would stick to the tape and sometimes on itself. So would have to cut and start another piece.

If You Use Your Books and Take Care of Them...
I have many books that I read, or to which I refer, over and over. The covers wear at the hinges. This is the right tool for repairing or reinforcing book covers.

Repaired our Dr. Seuss book collection
repaired some old children's books that were pretty worn. Good strong tape and very flexible. Molded to inside and outside folds and helped to hold the books together with no lifting edges. Will see how it responds to, hopefully, years more reading of Dr. Seuss.

I only needed the cotton cloth book binding repair tape for a small job and wish I could have purchased it in a smaller roll for less money. It worked well.

Perfect for my needs!
I am a teacher and many of my classroom library books have started to come apart at the spines. This book tape met my needs perfectly and was delivered quickly. I will definitely reorder from this seller if I discover I need more of this book tape!

Makes Strong Repairs.
Our church has hymn & songbooks with three ring bindings. This tape is excellent for repairing cracked hinges on the vinyl covers of these books.
