this movie was ok. i thought i was watching the longest yard only with soccer. the movie line is exactly like longest yard

Such a laugh riot, just amazing.

British play off the Burt Reynolds classic. Just watched it again today, and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Always a good story. I pretty much like every role that Vinnie Jones plays, and this one is no different. Good comedy and a bit of drama all rolled into one. Pop a beer, sit back and check it out someday.

This is a hilarious take on The Longest Yard. It has recognizable British actors, and a great finish. If you like Guy Ritchie style films, this is your style.

Excellent movie.

I liked the cast & gave this dvd a try. The plot is weak, butt this was made on a low budget & it shows. If you like hearing british speak & swear, you will enjoy it. I had low expectations & that's why i was not disappointed, do not expect this to be the best movie you will ever watch, butt rather a decent movie with british copy of the longest yard, then you will be delighted.

I've been looking for this for years, so I bought it used through Amazon. Good, solid British film. With some soccer mixed in.

Mean Machine is one of my favourite Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham movie's. I'd watched this a couple of times with my husband previously and couldn't resist buying it when I saw it was on DVD. An ex footballer shunned by his country for throwing a game is incarcerated for drink driving and is given the task by the governer of putting together a team of cons to have a match with the guards. Jason Statham as 'Monk' is hilarious... a great cast for an evening of light entertainment.

I hadn't seen this movie and after hearing great recommendations from many people, I decided to buy it. It's a typical Vinnie Jones movie really, which I personally do enjoy but he isn't to everyone's taste. I find this much better than the American version (The Longest Yard) but still not a film I am likely to watch many more times.

Great film but that's personal preference.. Dvd itself really good the same as you would buy from a shop highly recommended.. Hope this helps. Enjoy the film
