I never write product reviews from purchases I make online, but in this case I'm very fortunate that I had this helmet on during my accident yesterday morning!If you're having any doubts that this helmet will do it's job, look no further.If any of you are familiar with the trails here in Westeren North Carolina, you know they can be very rocky and have other things in the path to jump over while traveling at high speeds. Yesterday morning I was riding down a steep slope, jumping rocks and stumps in my path and made a total rookie mistake by taking my eyes off the trail for a split second. A curve was coming up and I took it too wide, my front tire hit wet grass ANNNNNNNNND you can imagine what happened from there. Total wipe out.I got banged up pretty good, most of the impact went straight to my head. The helmet ended up cracking but only after it did its job.....protecting my head! I feel that my injuries would be a lot worse if I had not had this helmet on. I hope this review helps in deciding which helmet to go with.

I just got this helmet this week. Today, during my second long ride in the desert with this helmet, I got into an accident, flipped my bike and hurt myself pretty bad. ER visit, CT scan + x-rays later, I'm going to be ok!!! I just want to THANK the manufacturer. My helmet is all broken up...it did it's job and protected my noggin. For this, I am so grateful. Thank you for a well made product!!!!

Just started recreational cycling with my grandson. I was NOT looking forward to wearing a helmet but since he is required I decided to also wear one. I was pleasantly suprised how lightweight and comfortable the helmet is. I do recommend this helmet. I do not use the visor.

cool, like this black and red design. Quality is good, with an comfortable cotton inside. Adjustable head fit. I get it around two day shipment, the package looks good, well protected and fit. Don’t see any finger print and scratch on the good. I can’t expect more than this.

For the price it's a very nice helmet. It fits well and it does allow wind to keep my head cool. My only concern is how long will the inside material last? But if your looking for a lightweight, inexpensive bike helmet, you can't go wrong with this product. Oh, and it was delivered way ahead of the original schedule.

I think overall the product will be fine. Not sure about the longevity of the visor as seems like the small pins that insert into the sides of the helmet are not very durable. Also the fact there is no visor securement points in the front allow the visor to move rather freely.I also had to sand down the protrusion in the front of the helmet. With that and the little hook & loop "dot", it tended to push against my forehead which made it uncomfortable.Over all, for the price, and minor modifications, I am satisfied with the purchase. It also matches the color on my older Trek 4500 pretty well :-)

Great helmet. Comfortable, Ample padding with wide range of fit adjustment. Great ventilation. My head is on the "large" side of the size spectrum and had no trouble getting the correct fit."Highly recommend" !!! Revised May 13,2018: I originally gave this helmet a 5 star rating. I have revised it to 4 stars ONLY because the "strap to clip connection" became undone and I had to manually sew the strap to the connection clip. Not a big deal for me but now the helmet chin strap is no longer adjustable. Now it is custom fitted perfectly "FOR MY HEAD ONLY" (-:
