Bought this to try out. Wasn't expecting much. WOW!Very surprised. Packaging worth 30 bob on it's own.Being an ex-chef, I have used Loads of different types of knives. Sabatier, Santukos.I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when opening the little drawer on the box (oo'er) to be met with a mirror finish blade with hammer effect across the top.Decided to put it through it's paces with Xmas Veg prep.4 x Swede, 4 bags of Carrots, 4 x bags Potatos, 9 x onions (didn't stop me crying). It handled the lot with no problems. sharp out of the box and didn't seem to dull down.Very comfortable to handle (you may need to get used to the slightly deeper blade, mind yer fingers).Washed and steeled ready for next use

Good product will buy this brand again
Quite sharp on arrival but after a quick run on the steel it was very sharp and it kept the edge. Nicely balanced and looks good

As a chef always upgrading my knife kit was a great addition well balanced good quality with a nice edge on the blade will last for a long time highly recommend it

Knife does it job
The knife came fairly sharp but not my kind of sharp.If you know what a bess tester is then you know a 280 score is ok but when I finished sharpening I got a 75 score you know that is double edge razor sharp.
