Waterman 5 Pocket Hybrid Shorts for Men – Fishing, Diving, Surf Board Shorts – Quick Dry Casual Swim Trunks

I used them for swimming 4 days straight in Mexico in the pool and ocean. I love the fit, length, and design. There is no liner and I like it that way. When swimming in the ocean I always wear tight speedo shorts underneath so I don’t get chaffing on my legs. Saltwater does that to me. For the pool it’s fine without the base layer as long as you don’t mind going commando. Haven’t used for fishing yet but looking forward to wearing in the kayak and using the pliers pocket while standing up. Love all the pockets. Plenty of room for wallet, keys, phone, etc while walking around. One picture shows how the material shrunk and embroidery did not. Mine have had no shrinking at all. I also didn’t put it in the dryer after washing. It’s swimsuit type material so it line dries pretty quickly.

These shorts are awesome just for the beach busy double for fishing has 1 hard inner pocket for tools and a flip out pocket small one for well small stuff lol definitely buy these

I'm hard to fit- I am wide shouldered and short, with large thighs and calves. What a catch... A kilt fits perfectly; so do these board shorts. E commerce for cloths presents a risk-benefit challenge; I'm so happy with the way these fit. They are at the knee, and spot on at a 34" waist. The color (grey) is rich and saturated. The design is stylish and fun. The material feels great and I imagine would dry quickly. I have not worn them in the water yet...but it's 'gonna happen. Theses are already easily one of my favorite all-time board shorts. Proud to wear 'em, worth the $$$! TBD: No zipper, instead there's Velcro. Not sure how the hook/loop material will hold up to abuse (think seaweed, or jellyfish) and fading in the sun/ocean- pool is a given Regards, Dustin

I'm really happy with my purchase of these board shorts. I've been searching for the right board shorts for awhile now that check all my boxes. Finally my search is over, these are the ones. Very comfortable soft inner fabric they don't chaf your skin. Plenty of pockets for everything which is exactly what I wanted. Heavy duty Velcro front closure and lace front tie. I was a little concerned the 38 would be to big because I usually take a 36 but the 38 fit perfectly. They are a little on the baggy side but that's ok lots of room for movement. The price was very reasonable considering all the features and quality and workmanship in these board shorts.

On first opening/try-on, the Tormentor Waterman fits as ordered, feels very light, and has plenty of pockets for non-bulky items: thin wallet, smartphone, some small personal items. I ordered a 40 & got a true 40; it's not the looser board-short fit that surfers favor, though--more of a trim casual fit. If you're wearing these for very active sport, you may want to order up 1 size, & just adjust the shoelace-&-hook-&-eye-type closure. I have this type on a pair of O'Neills; it took some getting used to, but is fine. They look and feel fine for casual-to-beach-to-casual; water/sand drains in the LH outer cargo pocket & the 2 larger hip pockets might get rid of the bulk of sand & beach debris. The small R hip inside pocket, usually billed as being for keys, I might trust with a few bills or a condom on dry land, but valuables like keys/ID/larger bills seem like they'd be safer in the pocket-within-a-pocket on the RF hip; w/its stronger hook-loop & a stiffened closure band. I chose the black, which has the large fish-skeleton logo & big stitched "TORMENTOR" name also in black thread; be sure to check the pix on your color choices, as on some, the fish really stands out. Soon, we'll see how they do in the water.

These were a little small for me. I wear an XL usually and I bought an XL of these and they are a little tight on me. I really like the style and design of them though. They do not have a liner and are just good hanging out board shorts.

Good fit and finish. I have another pair from this company and like them as well- that’s really why I bought these. Did not disappoint

Size 34 fits like all my size 32 jeans. The 32 was too small so had to exchange it
