CPST review
As a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST, also known as car seat tech) I recommend this product. I used it recently for a flight to carry my son's car seat through the airport. It was perfect. Our seat is a Britax Marathon g4 and it fit beautifully on the cart. The cart easily attached to the seat and the seat was easy to remove quickly for security as well. The cart has a ratcheting strap that helps get the seat nice and secure on the cart. My 27 lb son was able to ride in his seat while I pulled it on the cart - so it made getting through the airport super easy. I read complaints about the smell and did notice a strong plastic smell right out of the package. I just left the cart in my garage overnight and didn't notice a smell anymore. The wheels rolled well and made our trip simple even with a two-year-old. Highly recommend for all parents who are traveling with little ones - you should have the car seat installed on the airplane so this makes it easy to get from your car to the airplane and stows easily in the overhead bin!

AMAZING!
We have a Graco 4-Ever All-In-One DLX and I recently used this to cart it around the airport on a solo trip with my 3.5 year old. MAGIC. This thing, buy it, seriously. So many moms came up to me asking what this was and how they could get one. My daughter was able to sit in it securely the whole time while I carted her around, the thing was so sturdy and stable. That car seat I have is BIG, it is CLUNKY, and this thing made it a dream. Worth it's weight in gold, I am so happy I bought it. I had previously tried to strap it to our luggage, but it was a nightmare, this thing is worth the investment entirely. When we got to the plane I detached it and folded it up, it fit in the overhead bin and also on the side of the window seat. It fit's under the seat but not great, at least not on Frontier's stretch seats, but they let me leave it there. The overhead bin was the way to go. It is so easy to attach it to the carseat, one strap through the back and then you tighten it with a little silver pull thing. It gets so tight without any muscle. To remove, just pull on this one little black tab and it releases the strap. The only 'con' was that it took awhile to arrive, so plan accordingly, and I've also heard it goes out of stock a lot. So get it while you can because it will provide stress-free airport travel for years to come!

This is a miracle for a solo parent who can't lug a seat and/or a child around
I cannot recommend this cart enough! I used it for the first time this week and have been raving about it to family and friends with kids. I researched so many options for traveling alone with a toddler. I ended up getting this cart and the Birdee travel bag for gate checking. Worked like a dream. I practiced securing the car seat (Safety First Grow and Go- it's big and heavy) to the cart a couple times at home, but it is truly foolproof. A strap with a plastic zip thing goes thru the seatbelt path and clicks easily. Just as easy to undo. My toddler loved zooming around the house as I got used to how it handles. On our return trip my child was asleep in the car when we got dropped off. I unbuckled the car seat and secured it on this cart without waking him up. Security let me leave it on the seat both times. When I arrived at each departure gate, I unhooked the cart, folded it up, and clipped it INSIDE the car seat using the chest buckle. Then I put the whole thing inside a gate check travel bag (see my review on the Birdee bag, it did an amazing job too). After, I even took out the cart and tried putting the bagged seat on it by clipping the bag straps with a carabiner. It totally worked, which would be good going gate to gate. But my child decided walking wasn't fun after a couple minutes, so I unbagged the seat and clipped it directly to the cart and we were off. This is one of the best products for traveling alone with a child. I didn't know if it was worth the price, trust me- it is. I plan to use it for years, since my child will be in some form of car seat that long. This was such a good find.

Great tool, did not work for our toddler seat (Frontier 90)
We have used the regular Go-Go Babyz travelmate numerous times to schlepp an FAA-compliant seat through airports. It's a great tool, and a must-have if you want your small child to ride in the car seat (cheaper tools could drag a car seat through an airport, but not provide a sturdy ride-on seat). However, the original did not work with our Frontier 90, so I crossed my fingers and bought this for an international flight with one of those connections where you need to pick up all of your baggage and bring it back through customs.First, the bad news: it did not work with the Frontier 90, although it claims to work with Frontiers on its list of compatible seats. It did pull it around, but it did not attach correctly and strongly enough for a child to sit in it because the position of the bars was incompatible with the seat. It was not a fun situation, because it also did not pull the seat very well even without the 3 year old in it.Now the good news: If I were to buy one of these, I would start here. This one is stronger, smaller, and better designed than the original. You can read my review on the original, but the short of it is that it is a really great tool with a few small annoying parts. Those include a ratcheting mechanism that is a bit sticky to release and a tendency to fall over. No big deal, but the extra time is slightly annoying going through security. This newer, smaller version has resolved these issues. Plus, you can hook your anchor to the bottom metal bar for added stability. I am sure I would have loved this with the convertible car seat, and just wish it had fit the toddler. Now I need to decide whether or not to leave the car seat at home on flights and get (gulp!) a regular, backless booster seat for times we travel.ETA: I heard some comments on using seats in flight. The Frontier 90 is not flight compatible, and neither is a backless booster. My concern in this post is having a seat to use once on the ground. If I were to do it all over again, I would perhaps get a Radian Diono car seat, since it seems like it would travel so much better. I am not sure, though, because of the issue of good installation and the issues of anchors, etc. We buckle our 4 year old into the plan seat. I know it is not perfect, but it is good enough for us at this point.
