### Amazon Review: Fresh Is Best - Freeze Dried Healthy Raw Meat Treats for Dogs & Cats⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**Perfect Treats for Picky Eaters and Health-Conscious Pet Owners!**I cannot rave enough about these freeze-dried raw meat treats from Fresh Is Best. As a pet parent to both a finicky cat and an allergy-prone dog, finding treats that satisfy both their tastes and dietary needs has been a challenge. These treats have been an absolute game-changer!**Quality Ingredients:** The first thing I noticed was how pure the ingredients are. No fillers, artificial flavors, or unnecessary additives—just wholesome, real meat. You can tell this brand truly prioritizes the health of our furry companions.**Great for Training:** I’ve used these treats during training sessions, and the results have been incredible. My dog stays focused and eager to please, all thanks to these irresistible morsels.**Versatility:** These treats are perfect for both cats and dogs. My cat, who is usually indifferent to most treats, actually comes running when she hears the bag open.**Portion and Packaging:** The resealable packaging keeps the treats fresh for a long time, and the portion sizes are ideal for small rewards or larger servings.I highly recommend Fresh Is Best for any pet owner who wants to provide their pets with healthy, guilt-free treats. Best Treat for Allergic Cat
These freeze dried duck hearts have been a lifesaver for our allergic kitty. Duck is one of the few proteins he can have, and grains as a group are questionable. The first time we ordered these I didn't know what to expect. I was half hoping these nuggets weren't actually avian organs. When you get the bag, it has been vacuum sealed. Extra points for fresh bird hearts? You can see right through the (resealable!!) plastic that these aren't fake bits. They're actual duck hearts, raw and dehydrated whole. They don't have a strong odor like many treats, but there's a faint musky smell to them. It's tolerable. In one bag you'll get about 40-60 duck hearts. There's a lot of variation in the size of the things.WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNINGWhole dried duck hearts are a choking hazard for cats. Please cut up the hearts, reconstitute, or both.WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNINGOther than don't feed the hearts whole, you can feed these hearts however your cat wants them. Our allergic kitty prefers them dry and sort of cubed. Our other two kitties (who rarely get a bite of this exquisitely priced treat) prefer the reconstituted version. If your kitty is sick and needs to be coaxed to eat, duck hearts are worth trying. If it's a kitty that typically prefers wet food, you can try sprinkling small bits on top of the regular food -- or slightly mashing up a few rehydrated hearts with water or broth.Keep in mind that duck hearts aren't a 1:1 replacement nutritionally for a normal cat treat. Duck hearts have 30 calories (roughly) per heart and are 60% protein. Most of the single protein cat treats have between 2-4 calories per piece and have "a minimum" of 30% protein. It works out just fine -- I just have trouble not giving the cats too many of these because they love them so much. (If you can get some duck fat for the holidays for a garnish, by the way, your cats will have you knighted.)One more thing: if a child helps feed your cat, be ready to have some conversations about where the ducks that belong the hearts are. Brush up on your heart anatomy too. Kids ask the smartest questions these days!I recommend these duck hearts without reservation and hope that your pets enjoy them as much as ours have.

My cat loves these!
Duck hearts are a healthy treat to add as a topper to wet food for enrichment and extra protein boost. Plus raw duck hearts are high in taurine, which is an essential amino acid that has many health benefits for cats. These are fresh and break up easily. You can feed them whole if you want as they are a nice size for cats to chew on. Everything I’ve ordered from fresh is best has been great for my cat!

Best for the money
The vet told me to treat our new Cat with duck hearts to prevent issues with heart later in life. If you are a Cat Person, then you understand how precious these fur babies are and will do anything to enhance their lives. These duck hearts are excellent quality and my cat absolutely loves them. I feed her one per day. This is much better than those treats one gets from the grocery store (they are full of fillers).

My Dog Loves Them 💛
100% my dog's absolute favorite treat ever! 💛Perfect chew and texture for her. She's an incredibly picky dog, and gets tired of other treats after a while, or outright won't eat some treats at all. Not these. Been giving them to her since she was 6 months old (she's 3 years old now) and she's never once ever turned it down!Bought one bag of another "freeze dried" duck neck brand once because it was a little cheaper, and she ate them at first, but then refused to eat them after like a week. To be fair, they looked more like they were dehydrated versus freeze dried, like these are.Anyone I've given these to as a gift for their doggos have all said they've gobbled them up!Will always buy these Fresh Is Best duck necks for my girl 💛

Cat loves them, but they’re expensive
I’ve got a picky cat and she’ll turn down so many different treats that have rave reviews from other pet owners… she seems to LOVE duck liver. Anytime she hears a bag crackle now.. she comes running. This stuff is just too expensive though. I’m sick of companies ripping cat owners off when they give the same portions for dogs or even human consumption for a fraction of the price. Take Bonito flakes for example… tiny bag for $20… but you can get a giant bag of the same stuff from any Asian market or on Amazon for about $8.I’ve already searched and found some dog version duck livers that I’m going to try out… but I’m just about to buy my own freeze dryer and start my own pet food business! Until then, I’m stuck paying these crazy prices for about 6-7oz of fresh raw liver.
