I bought this Bible stories for our nearly 4 year old and she loves to listen to the stories but asks questions, I believe it's for bit older kids as some words can be more 'complex' for little minds but still it's written very well for children and my little one still patiently listening to the stories. The illustration are just beautiful. Very happy with the purchase.However, when the first book arrived and was dropped through the letter box it was broken upon opening, I don't know if it was broken prior or not but Amazon provided replacement within a day BUT with it being hard cover and heavy book I'd recommend the seller to put FRAGILE label on the packaging to protect the books! :)
