If you are ordering this to grind salt it works fine but pepper no way! The grinding mechanism is plastic and does not work well for pepper. I purchased this based on good reviews but wish I hadn’t.

Horrible.. doesn't grind well at all - just breaks the peppercorn and salt in a couple pieces which makes it inedible.

I love how they want you to review a product as soon as you receive it. Less than two weeks after getting these the salt grinder is useless. That’s not completely fair, it makes a damn fine paper weight. If these are premium I’d hate to see the low line.

These salt and pepper shakers are very awesome! They work as stated! Very good product!

We don't use much salt so are keeping the 2nd mill for a spare for pepper. The pepper mill works great and looks nice in out kitchen.

Pretty average quality, far from a showcase . Better for salts, less for pepper.

The main body of the grinder detached from the outside wall, so now it spins freely with the grinder itself. Bought this in December so I don't recommend it.
